Weekend mornings costs $115 + tax =$130 per person per round, including power cart , bacon& sausage McMuffiin and Hash Brown. Washrooms very clean, small Pro shop with limited merchandise. Driving range and putting green available. Takes 4 hours and 14 minutes to play 18 holes. Some holes are quite challenging , gullies and water hazards swallow your golf balls! Some holes are hilly, I'm glad I'm riding instead of walking. At $130, its not cheap but you get what you paid for!

Beautifully maintained golf course, driving range & facilities!…read more This past golfing season Richmond Hill GC was a huge part of the reason why I was way more consistent & committed! I thoroughly enjoyed all the days, sunsets & hours spent at the driving range practicing This place is just beautiful & so conveniently located close to home. Workers here are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Special shoutout to Sal for going through the extra trouble of locating a more suitable club for me when I wasn't really happy about the one they initially gave (& also bringing it right up to me at the range!) The driving range is pretty spacious & there are plenty (although it does get more crowded later on in the day). There are a few target practicing flags on the range as well. I haven't had the chance to play holes here but I would love to next season!

By the way, if you book private lessons, he takes the same rate regardless if you're single or in a group. After a few lessons, the package discount rate kicks in. I've been on and off with golf learning, read a book, watched some Youtube videos and received some tips from who I play with and people around the course. However, nothing beats having some in-person lessons with a pro. This is my first set of official lessons. Scott is easy to follow and gave some advice that is hardly focused on online resources. He marked my golf glove to change my grip slightly. He also gave me tips on setting up, aiming and helped me make the fine adjustments in positioning based on my height and the golf clubs I use. The grip positioning tweak is different than what I'm used to! The key takeaway I have received so far is to keep my arms/grip loose. As soon as you tighten your swing, there is more tendency to lose distance/accuracy. What an insight! I can use less effort but swing farther! I've been using my arms too much even though I thought I wasn't. So I tell myself now, go one notch looser than I think I am. This kind of intuitiveness builds naturally at an early age, so start your kids young in golf! He told us on his bad day, he would score a 74. That's his BAD day. The only issue I have is with booking him on the golf course. It seems like the golf course still runs in an old-fashioned way of writing down names on a book. You think with the 21st century, booking and confirmations are all online. One time, we were supposed to get an hour lesson, but the golf course messed up and wrote us down for half an hour. Scott was nice and just wrote it off this one time. It's all online for booking a tee time so I don't understand why they don't do the same for the instructor. Scott told us golf is his job, but his primary passion is music and songwriting. So he does performance gigs on the side as well. As for the course, I haven't played here yet maybe one day. I've been told it's not great for beginners given the longer distance. There are over 5 holes that are over 300 yards from the red tees and mostly par 4 or 5.

wow.. I am so disappointed…read more Not just one bad experience but now TWO. First time I had ever been to this golf course the entire round a marshal was on our foursome asking us to hurry even though the group in front of us was still trying to clear the green. He came back almost every other hole and we tried to explain that there's a backup somewhere but it wasn't us and he was forcing us to hit into the group in front of us. At one point when he returned and yet again interrupted our golf, he asked us to just play best ball to get through the round. Let's just start with the fact that it wasn't us being slow, and on top of this you want me to play best ball after I paid an arm and a leg to be here? As we are trying to get through this round we ended up in a thunderstorm and once the alarms set off for us to evacuate the course, we started heading back immediately but the Marshall stopped us and asked us what we were doing. We had said that the alarms mean we need to go back to the clubhouse and he said we should just keep playing. Not only is this HIGHLY dangerous but extremely unprofessional and he obviously was not trained enough to understand what those sirens meant. We then were given rain checks for the day because we barely got through the course because of the back ups and the rain. The man at the clubhouse gave all four of us rain checks for 18 holes and 2 carts. We came back today to use them and somehow were forced to pay $130. While we explained to the head pro that we were given these to play an entire round for free because of our rain checks he was completely rude and did not want to listen to us and forced us to pay $130 even though that amount didnt make sense at all. Once we finished our round today, which we didn't even get an 18 in because we played twilight, we asked him if he reviewed what had happened earlier where he then told us he made a mistake, we should have gotten the round for free but now he couldn't refund us because it would refund the rain checks as well. So now we're forced to come back, where this situation will probably happen again, and quite honestly I don't want to go back. Golf should be enjoyable and while they continue to try and make the game approachable for youth golfers and novice golfers, this course is really not helping this case. I've golfed a lot around and outside the GTA and I was so extremely excited to play here when I could finally afford it and twice now I've had the worst experience. If you have an option to play here, spend your money elsewhere.

They also have clubs for rental as well. Jumbo bucket with 100 balls come out to around $30 and reg bucket with 60 balls is around $22 plus tax. Pay for the buckets at the clubhouse before going to the range. With the outdoor stalls they have both real grass or fake turf. The fake turf provides the usual left handed or right handed grass panels with a rubber tee. The rubber tee is a bit high as I know some other places usually have a taller and a shorter rubber tee for interchanging. Otherwise the spots are pretty good (no shade fyi) and the ball dispensing machine is quick and fast.

The process to get a bucket of balls for the outdoor range is very quick and easy, with a QR code…read morescanner that they have at the ball dispenser. It's definitely more worth it to head to the outdoor range than the indoor one if you're not too serious about golf, as it is cheaper and less busy. I'm not too familiar with ranges, but some of the spots had chunks of grass missing, so we had to walk out a little further to find a solid patch to use. There is a lot of space though, so it wasn't too hard to find! It did start raining quite heavily while we were there, so if you're worried about the weather, it's important to know that there is no coverage for the outdoor section!

The venue was very beautiful with manicured lawns, a castle-like building, and a sufficiently large banquet hall for guests and a live band. The hors d'eouvres included spring rolls, phyllo triangles filled with cheese, and coconut shrimp. Since we were here on Star Wars day (May 4th), there were even green Yoda drinks with eyes and lime slices for ears. They definitely played up this theme all day and it was a really nice touch. What was noticeable throughout the evening was how good the food was. Everyone at the table said it was better than previous years at a different golf course. The antipasto, which is usually my least favorite dish, was really good. The beef entree was amazing. It was cooked perfectly medium on the inside with the same color pink throughout. The staff were courteous and accommodating. One person at our table asked for the personal caesar salad without bacon since the shared salad had bacon and we pretty much received another shared salad. Towards the end of the evening, the staff were clearing off tables while the banquet was winding down. But they were a little too quick to clear the tables that they took away someone's photo booth photos before those people came back to the table to claim their photos. Overall it was a really nice evening was excellent food at a stellar venue.

It would instead record the distance to the pin. The mats on the right or left side don't have these machines. This place is still busy as ever even on a weekday night. We were able to score a free basket by collecting points. It makes practicing so much more fun! I went through my basket quickly playing this, and it motivated me to get better. Now this game changer solidifies this place as my favourite driving range in the city. There is a putting area to practice and an area for without a pin for chipping perhaps. However, there's sometimes a class going on there. I've heard the owner can be pretty harsh, but I have yet to interact with him and have been here many times without hiccups. He has left us alone every time we came here to practice. This driving range and another near the airport are the only ones in the GTA that use these TopTracer machines so it'll get us coming back for sure.

The grass areas has been a bit dry so far this season and there are no tracer machines there. But it's available. They seem to take decent care of their mats and replace them fairly regularly. You still have access to an okay chipping and putting range. Line-ups haven't been too terrible compared to right after the pandemic. The kids working have always been great. Just avoid most of the older guys in the golf carts and you'll be fine.
