A rep came to our home with different colors and styles. We went along with what the roofer recommended 6" seamless k style while aluminum gutters. The elbows, splash guards, down spouts & .032 mm gauge are included. The 20 year warranty on materials and 5 yrs. on labor made Family Gutters attractive. Our home was freshly painted, the pavers have been power washed & our home looks pristine. We were concerned about this job becoming a mess. Family Gutters arrived at 9 o'clock and set up in front of our house. They cut the gutters to hang right in front of our house. Two men worked quickly, neatly & meticulously. As he looked at the general area his interest got lesser and lesser since he said "this isnt easy and I think we will pass. We were looking for something easy". Really? First of all, it is not difficult area to work on. Its a simple 18 ft by 12 and sure it would have taken some work on gutter area, it isnt difficult for professionals. I of course had another company come in, point out how they would address the work with professionalism. I am still looking at several contractors but Peter was just not great. We also had an issue with the placement of one downspout. It was installed right next to our hose spigot, leaving no room to turn it on or off. We had to have the company return to adjust it. Overall, the work got done, but there were a couple of details that could have been handled better.
