Our wedding was this past July 2018 in NYC and Boris was our wedding photographer…read more We are over the moon! Boris is fantastic! He is patient, professional and extraordinarily talented. He had met with us before the wedding to get to know us better as a couple; what our hobbies are, what locations in NYC are important to us, and what activities we found meaningful together. We had a great time chatting away about wedding photos and what we were envisioning for our special day. He was extremely organized and able to guide us through questions we had and also ones we didn't know to ask. Weddings can be difficult to navigate but Boris's expertise and experience was reflected in his advice and recommendations. Fast-forward to our wedding day and Boris arrived at our home with a smile on his face and an arsenal of photo gear that somehow fit in just one bag. He made sure that no moment was left unphotographed and he left a personal touch that was exceptional. He made every moment of our wedding day count. Every emotion that was felt that day can be seen in at least one photograph. Our photos not only tell the story of our celebration but portray love and happiness in each photo. Boris's knowledge of photography, skilled eye and artistic ability inspired such an eclectic mix of backdrops in Lower Manhattan including; WTC, Oculus, Brookfield Place Pier, Westfield Park, Municipal Building Arches, and with the "5 in 1" statue by the Brooklyn Bridge. Boris is truly talented and works with grace and ease. He knew which location backdrops would produce stunning photos and allowed us to be relaxed the entire shoot. We never felt as if we were posing; he would recommend acting naturally and casually and the photos reflect just that. Our faces and expressions never appear tense and some of my favorite shots are when he suggested we slow dance on a beautiful cobble stone street. A week after the wedding, he sent a few sneak peaks which showed us that the rest of our photos would be absolutely stunning. A few weeks later, he sent a password protected link to our hundreds of photos. The photos were everything we wanted and even some that we didn't know we wanted. Candid shots of us getting ready, romantic shots of us together in our home, silly shots of interactions with our families, in-action shots of the champagne toasts, and excited shots of us arriving to city hall with family and friends. Boris captured photos of the ceremony, guests, locations, and mementos perfectly. Thank you Boris from the bottom of our hearts for such a magical experience! Our wedding photos came out better than we could have ever imagined. We will truly cherish these moments that you so beautifully captured. We would wholeheartedly recommend Boris!

I'm really impressed with his work. His pictures are more of an antique look which I love ! You barely need any edits once you see the final prints! I will be using him again :) Even though we were running late he was still so professional. He took his time and really made sure we would have a reason to love our pictures ! Which is we totally do !!

UPDATE AFTER WEDDING: I still can't believe how perfect and…read morewonderful and supportive and chill Stephanie was on our wedding day -- amid the chaos behind the scenes and sheer joy all around, she was a calm presence celebrating us, our love, and our people. She went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed, and captured all sorts of things we were so happy to see after the fact. She was also AMAZING with our pup and flower children. : ) We are thrilled with our sneak peek photos, can't wait to see the full set in a few weeks, and honestly just want Steph to come visit us in Brooklyn to hang out. Thank you, Steph, and can't wait to see you again sometime soon! REVIEW FROM ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS: My partner and I are so so excited to be working with Stephanie for our wedding next year, and she gifted us an hour of engagement photos. We happened to be in town for one day this week, and she moved mountains to be able to meet us for a session. And y'all, she was AMAZING -- she took us from awkward-giggly to having a blast just hanging out together. We just got the sneak peek preview, and they're so great...we look like us, but the very best, happiest, and prettiest versions of us. She was triple prepared with backups on backups in case of surprise weather, made us feel so comfortable (especially important for us as a queer couple) and -- get this -- she even brought us coffee when we rolled up. Hero status. PSA: Book Stephanie for your wedding or literally anything else (headshots, engagement pics, etc.) -- she's the best decision we made in wedding planning and we're so excited to see her again!

I found this photographer and asked her a couple of questions about the beaches we would shoot on since I'm not local. She was very unresponsive and seemed to be offended I asked her questions about the seaweed in her beach photos. Again little to no response. After a week I asked "Are we on?". Finally she responded with I should find another photographer since the beach she shoots on is "not what I want". What?....I never said I didn't like the location, I just asked some questions about what beaches she shot at and emailed her that I was fine with whatever was the prettiest beach. Customers aren't allowed to ask questions about shoot location? Her pictures on her website are not even that good to be honest, she's definitely a novice, but I figured for a quick mini shoot it would be okay. But WOW, couple that with terrible customer service and $295 for 20 minutes for mediocre photos?. Buyer beware...
