I hate to have to write something like this. But I would like to warn other potential patients. I…read moremoved to the area last year and used my health insurance to find an in network provider to do a standard annual check up. At every interaction, the clinic attempted to have me pay despite this being preventative and my insurance covering it fully. They made me come to two separate appointments and build them both as diagnostic. Then they said that they did not have a lab tech on staff so they sent me to LabCorp. They also charged this as diagnostic. I was then given over $500 in bills and threatened to be sent to collections if I did not pay. The doctor said he would not review our blood work results without a Teladoc visit. Which would cost another appointment cost. I just googled my lab results. This is not the type of relationship. I went with my primary care provider. I spoke with my Insurance Broker as well as UHC. They both said that this clinic was trying to do me wrong. After months of messaging back-and-forth on the platform (I did not feel comfortable calling because it would then be not in writing) they have still not admitted fault or resolved the issue. There is still balance on my account and my LabCorp bill has been sent to collections. Buyer beware on entering into relationship with this clinic.

I came to this practice seeking a compassionate, thoughtful OB/midwife relationship to walk with me…read morethrough pregnancy. I arrived open-minded and hopeful, but after my experiences here, I've decided to seek care elsewhere. I've experienced two pregnancy losses while under the care of this practice, and during an already difficult time, the care I received often felt more one-size-fits-all than individualized. I recognize that this may be influenced by the volume of patients or broader systems within pregnancy care, but for me, it meant that I didn't always feel truly seen or held as an individual with a unqiue history. The midwife I worked with was kind, but on more than one occasion she appeared unfamiliar with important details of my medical history. After experiencing my first pregnancy loss with her, it was difficult to return just three months later and realize she had not reviewed my chart before coming in to discuss my second loss. In that moment, the lack of preparation felt especially painful. Scheduling appointments was also challenging, and after my second loss I waited an additional 45 minutes to see a doctor, which added to an already emotionally difficult experience. After my second pregnancy loss, I was not offered guidance around possible testing, follow-up options, or next steps unless I explicitly asked. Additionally, after an ultrasound confirmed a pregnancy loss, I was told the earliest available appointment for the necessary procedure was six days later, which felt unreasonable and I was forced to complete the procedure at an entirely different practice. I don't share this to place blame, but rather to help others make an informed decision. If you are someone seeking highly personalized, proactive care, especially after loss or if your pregnancy journey may not be straightforward, this may not be the best fit. For those with uncomplicated pregnancies who are comfortable with a more standardized approach, this practice may work well.
