Grapevine was one of two nanny agencies recommended to us by our hotel. Their online booking experience was easy and I found their rates more reasonable than the other nanny agency our hotel recommended. (I reached out to both and quickly compared all-in pricing.) The babysitter we were assigned, Rima, arrived on time and kept us updated on how things were going. She brought games and activities for my 7 year old daughter based on her interests, which I appreciated. The only thing that was a bit challenging is that we had to communicate with our babysitter via the Telegram app, which was new and different for me. I would have preferred WhatsApp or simple texting instead. Overall, I was happy with Grapevine and would recommend them to anyone looking for at-hotel childcare while in wine country with their children.

She has a relaxed sense of organization to the day, with plenty of variety in activities for the different age groups she cares for. My 2-year-old knows more about metamorphosis and chrysalises than I ever did. - Michelle is licensed for more children but chooses to care for only three at a time. This allows each child to receive exceptional attention and care. Smaller group also means significantly fewer sicknesses for kids. We have friends in bigger daycares and their kids seem to be constantly sick. Michelle is very diligent with cleaning and health issues and our son has been sick only a handful of times in 2 years. - Michelle has also been an amazing partner for us as parents. She helped us navigate so many milestones. Potty training was incredibly easy because of her! We trained at home for one weekend, and then she took over at daycare - and our son was potty trained. Laura makes all of the holidays and special days extra special - I could look forward to Mother's Day presents and special pictures on my son's birthday AND she does a really amazing "graduation" ceremony every year where all of the kids learn traditional Mexican dances and wear costumes. If your child attends Laura's Family Daycare, they will learn the alphabet, their numbers, sing, dance, play, explore Laura's beautiful garden and much more.
