My husband said we needed some groceries for dinner so we decided to check out this Albertsons instead of going to our home-base. This Albertsons is really nice! Our store down on the other end of State is nice but this one is nicccccce. The layout is reverse from our neighborhood store but we were excited to check out this venue. As usual, each Albertsons is always clean, organized and well stocked. We grabbed some produce, seafood and other goodies for dinner. I appreciate the young man that was helping us at the seafood counter. He was so patient and nice! We ended up grabbing a few things and he didn't rush us. He made sure he grabbed the right weight of the shrimp and crab we asked for. He was awesome and I wish I remembered his name. Everything else was easy to find. Well, we did get lost trying to locate the frozen veggies but other than that we pretty much got what we needed for dinner. Our cashier wasn't the friendliest but she wasn't rude, she was just there. She was more like mehhhhhh. The gal that was bagging the groceries didn't really greet or talk to us, she just stood there. I did bring a reusable bag and bagged up my own groceries. It was a pretty uneventful check out since the two people who helped us didn't really talk to us. This store is really pretty! My husband liked looking at the fridge that was dry aging the steak. The floral department here is by far prettier than ours. But one thing this store doesn't have is our cashiers at our home store. They are so much kinder there. It was great checking this store out but State and Glenwood will forever be my favorite.

Next day all of my kids were throwing up and we didn't know what was making them sick. We checked everything and still had no clue. All of my kids are top athletes so they don't eat junk food so I know it wasn't that. I asked my older daughter did you cook anything ! She said we only made avocado turkey sandwiches. I said did you look at the meat !! She said no I said please check the dates. She came running to me with the meat and I was blown away, how dark and covered with mold it was and what it look like mold web on it. My wife took the meat same day to the store to complain. She wanted to talk to the GM of the store. He was not there but she was assured he will contact her. About 5 days now no call from Tom. I called earlier to request to talk to him but he was to busy. I asked for another supervisor who very nice to talk to. His name was Jakob ! I shared my story with him and he was shocked that no one has reached out to us yet. I asked him to leave him a message. Anyway I will take all necessary steps that leads to have accountability for this company. Please do your self a favor look inside your food box. It was my kids this time and who know who's are next. She asked if i wanted some pizza and of course I said yes. Looking at the pizza, there was no real rhyme or reason to how they sliced it. All the slices were different in size. Not one is the same. One huge slice, many smaller slices and some slivers. I asked her if 2 smaller slices count as 1. She said yes. I wanted a total of 2 big slices. I was in the middle of asking her and was cut off cause I didn't answer her if I wanted pepperoni or Hawaiian. I was literally trying to talk her that I wanted a total of 4 slices to make 2 big slices and was shut down. I took my 2 small slices and went on my merry way. I honestly didn't even want to take the slices I had. The whole interaction with her was tasteless. Why would I want to bring this to my husband? I have never worked in a Deli type job but I have worked in the food industry. Today's interaction with the gal was such a turn off. Maybe she should stick with making the pizzas instead of helping customers. What a complete waste of time coming in and grabbing 2 uneven slices of pizza. I haven't been in for a long time before this and I don't see myself coming back anytime soon. I forgot for a second this was a Supercenter and laughed off the fact that its size is gonna force me to take a little longer to find what I need. Whoa, this place, though! Off the bat CLEAN. Everywhere I looked, everything was organized and placed where they should all be. It made me wonder if they had staff who just go around making sure of this. As previously mentioned, this place is huge and yet I found it uncharacteristically easy finding my stuff. WHAT?! All but a couple of cashiers were open so getting out was just as convenient. Cashier was nice and cheery. Service with a smile is always good. How I wish the miniscule Walmart located closer to home followed the standards of this colossal store. I'm reviewing this Mountain Home Walmart only. I wouldn't even know this was a Walmart unless the sign was up because I've never encountered such friendly and helpful people at any Walmart I've ever shopped at. The clerks. Every one of them. They were friendly and helpful. Then the manager interacted with me over recalled cucumbers but THANKFULLY he found some I could buy. Those were the best cucumbers I've ever purchased at a store, and I'm so grateful he let me buy more. This mountain home Walmart is the best Walmart I've ever visited. I'm SO impressed, thank you so much for making my thanksgiving meal A+ when I'm away from home and family this year.
