I should have left my $100 worth of products, I went in early to avoid risk (I am very high risk and only shop the slow times during Covid) The store was amazing!  so amazing I spent over $100.  when I was only going in for 4 things.  It was so early that I was the only one there. When I finally was ready to check out, a lady came out with a red nose sniffling and not wearing a mask.  I very politely asked her if they didn't require masks in the store, she replied No.  I stayed behind the plexiglass as she started to ring me up as she used a tissue to wipe her running nose and then she proceeded to touch, scan, and bag all my things.  As I walked out, there was a sign that stated you must wear a mask to enter.  When I drove home I started worrying about her running nose and touching all of my things. I got home and put everything in the garage and wont touch it for several days, (I know it's a very low possibility of transmission) but I am VERY HIGH RISK, I don't know if she has Covid, but the systems she displayed are also signs of Covid-19. If I could I would want to return every single item but, I don't want to spend more time in front of that lady.   I am so saddened by this experience and hope she can change how she conducts business at the Family Dollar tree.   Also on Yelp - for this store - the most recent review about a month ago m, said a lady working there wasn't wearing a mask.  It sounds like it's the policy of this particular Family Dollar.

With the catchy name Albertsons General Merchandise Center, the store caters to tourists who forgot to bring sunscreen, inflatable water toys or reusable drink cups. I've never seen beer pong kits in Albertsons or any other grocery store, but they have a big supply here, along with scores of red cups. There's also outdoor furniture, Tiki torches and Igloo coolers The funniest part of the store is anchored by rows of plastic drink cups. None of then are the same. They look more like someone scored the beaches of McCall, found ones discarded by visitors and brought them back to sell. The cash register clerk had nothing identifying him as an Albertsons employee. He was clad in a gray Hoodia and a baseball cap. Prices are pretty much what you'd expect to find in a resort town. Far from outlet store markdowns. Guess this is what happens when you buy a competitor or don't know what to do with the store left behind.

Tommy mentioned How the chicken was "hot" and he "likes hot food" I was slightly confused "like spicy you mean?" I asked. he agreed and gave me a small price to try. I decided it was not. I got the sesame chicken, fried rice, and the Coleslaw. When I got back to my car and decided to dig in I tried my chicken. It tasted horrid, AI generated and not spicy at all. My sister tried the chicken, she likes spicy food more than me and agreed it was not. After a few jokes at Tommy's expense my mom tried the chicken. She is the biggest baby when it comes to spicy food out of the tree of us. she said it was not spicy in the slightest and could have a few bites without feeling spiced out. The coleslaw was bad too, when my mom tried it she had to spit it out because it was so bad. She says it tastes like it was "sitting out for a week" it was bad. POS system crashes for extended period. Staff don't know how to address the problem or make alternate remedy. Managers aren't interested in service, but loss prevention - heaven forbid a paying customer has a problem. Go anywhere else, this business literally wanted to refuse payment.

There's not enough good things I could say about Idaho City Grocery!…read more Bobby (owner) is one of the most welcoming and kind people I've ever met! I've never seen him without a smile on his face and he always gives you a wave if he's outside. If you need anything they are more than willing to get it in for you and make sure you're taken care of. There aren't many hometown stores or people like them anymore and I always look forward to going in, getting my stuff and enjoying a chat with everyone in there! Not to mention their beer selection is incredible and their meats...drool worthy!!!
