Their contract said they did light housecleaning, including cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. But they refused. A huge turnover and several completely clueless caregivers showed up and were not qualified in any way to care for a sick person. Last BUT NOT LEAST, an employee ransacked my mother's jewelry drawer the one time we trusted someone alone with my father. Do not use this company.

We kind of came into it after the fact, Mom was being abused and she needed to be in a nursing home…read morea long time ago. We got involved after the hospital found Crystal Heights would offer Mom a place to stay while she found a long term place. Mom was going through withdrawal from her situation at her home, leaving her home and knowing that most of her family had abandoned her. They liked the money she brought in, and didn't want a nursing home involved. Crystal Heights was great about following protocol about situations like this andkept her abuser away from Mom. She was feed 3 good meals a day, her care givers were understanding and helpful and caring towards her. She enjoyed making new friends. but she was a LONG way from her Grandchildren and they were the joy of her life. It was hard for her to stay that far away from them and everything else going on in her situation. Her daughter promised she could live with her and that made her happy. They came to pick her up from Crystal Heights then brought her right back to her abuser. This is so hard for her but she promised me she would not give up and she said that everyday at Crystal Heights, at least one of the staff would remind her not to give up and that today IS a good day and she started believing that. She really liked being there when it comes to the care, encouragement, feeding her and even PT all was just what she needed and it helped give her strength.
