We always enjoy seeing the photos while away. We can see how happy they are. It is also nice how they check on our house too and bring in packages. I would like to give them a special shout out for the care that they gave our pets while we were away during a recent large snowstorm. We were concerned that they wouldn't be able to make it to our house because of the severity of the storm. they kept in touch and made sure that there was enough food and water for our fur babies in case they wee unable to make it back at the scheduled time. We didn't want them to endanger themselves and knew that they would be fine if they couldn't make it back. All went well and they reported back to us the next morning when the roads were cleared and they could make it back. They dug out a spot on the deck for our dog to get out and go the the bathroom and all was well. This is a great company and they truly love the pets that they are taiga care of.

In these types of circumstances....one on one attention is always preferred. Other than running my own two chihuahuas out for a quick potty break...Dogs ( as well as other types of pets ) are supervised 24/7. Your furbaby lives with us in out small cozy home for their stay. In the warmer weather we may have meals out on the back porch. There is a kiddie pool to cool down in as well as a fenced in yard. Even out in the yard....everyone is always supervised. I take no chances. Your pooch is cared for as if they were my own. Pups staying weekends might go on a hike or to the lake or state park. I use long lines and never let pups off leash. Bigger pups love the adventure. We never use crates...ever! Pups may be separated using baby gates at mealtime and for brief timeouts only.

My 7 year-old Maltese, Frederick spent this last year being walked twice a week by several of the staff at HOTH. I receieved gracious notes, he had the opportunity to meet other dogs in the neighborhood, and I was always treated in a caring, professional, and thoughtful manner. Fred also made two stays at the Bed and Biscuit, being cared for round the clock by HOTH staff. I have NEVER boarded my dog, so leaving him with someone outside of family and close friends was a choice I made very carefully. The cost for walks and overnight stays was reasonable and something I could afford living on the very small budget of a graduate student. I always felt wonderful knowing Fred was getting some love and attention during my long days at work. I can't recommend their services enough to coworkers and friends with animals.
