    Chicken bowl

Love their boba drinks! Their donuts are enormous and delicious! You have got to try their cinnamon rolls and the apple fritters! Love their pan dulce! They even have pan options that I haven't seen at the other local shops! The egg bacon burrito is my favorite for any time of day. I absolutely love the torta de pavo! Oh yeah! The chicken bowl is really good too!

Disappointed. I feel that these local donut shops are really letting me down with the freshness quotient. It's 4am. Shouldn't there be donuts coming out of the oven? The place doesn't even smell like freshly baked donuts. Le sigh. Maybe I need to come in at 5am... Give them an extra hour to warm up. I'll be coming back for the torta and other regional specialties. Because the pictures on the window look so tasty, it's making me want to break the glass it's on and eat it.

Ended up here after thanksgiving dinner with the notion of not eating at all... Ended up tearing the shit out of these carne asada fries. #FuckingGoodShit

My mouth is still salivating from this place ! Huge shoutout…read moreto my fellow vegan traveler & yelper for this recommendation! My husband and I are just so impressed with the Venezuelan flavors coming outta this tiny kitchen . The owner was a pleasure and kept checking on us.. So many vegan options ! The lentil & chickpea empanadas were delicious . How have I never had a vegan arepa before ? Loved the plantain sandwich so much I'll have to come back ! They can also make vegan pantacones. The juices are a must , not too sweet. . I went with the parchita & hubby ordered the papelon . If you find yourself in Palm Springs , you gotta hit this gem .

A total unexpected stop! First things first, should you swing by and grab something? Yes…read moreabsolutely! I came in around noon for a spur of the moment grab and go lunch. This small hole on the wall joint is perfect for this wants food truck only group that I would see regularly at the village fest Street fair downtown! Staff was on it and I ordered quickly without any fuss two empanadas to try out since I have never been here before! Bonus points for the gluten-free as well as vegetarian options! While I waited for my food, the kind stuff brought me over a stand for my phone as well as a cup of their passionfruit juice! I have to order this next time. It was tart and refreshing for the warm afternoon. Seating wise they have a long bench that runs along the wall as well as a bar against the window with a few tables scattered inside. Casual grab and go or quickly snack on your food between shopping vibes. The empanadas came out hot and packed in a beautiful little box perfect for me to take on the go with a small container of their hot sauce. Beef was filled and so tasty. I will definitely get this one again as well as the garbanzo bean one appeared to have lots of veggies in it as well! Empanada was so crunchy and perfectly fried on the outside, keeping everything warm and juicy inside! I think this would be an amazing option to take for a picnic or on the go given how well made they were! I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the empanada options or maybe something else from their menu to sit and enjoy! A couple that was eating their lunch appeared to be well taken care of by the staff who is happy to answer any in all questions about the menu. I can't wait to come back. Thank you for a delicious bite.

ONE STAR IS MORE THAN THIS PLACE DESERVES... I don't ask for…read morerefunds. I don't expect free food. I rarely leave one-star reviews. But this was genuinely one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in years, and people deserve to know what they're walking into. This was supposed to be a family outing which included an elderly woman in her 90s. We chose this restaurant because of its glowing reviews, and after this experience, I honestly cannot fathom HOW it maintains such a high rating. Half of our table specifically came here for the "Pollo a la Brasa" - one of the most recognizable dishes at any Peruvian (this is also Columbian) restaurant. After we were seated and spent time looking over the menu, it time to order and our server informed us they were all out of the chicken. The problem wasn't just that they ran out... It was how everything was handled afterward. Our server insisted on speaking Spanish, and once it became obvious that not everyone at our table spoke Spanish, his attitude noticeably changed. Instead of helping us navigate the menu after the restaurant had run out of one of its signature dishes, he acted irritated that we needed a few extra minutes to decide on something else. Keep in mind we were dining with a woman in her 90s. We weren't lingering for fun--we were forced to rethink our entire order because the restaurant didn't have one of the main reasons we all came. Yet he came back multiple times looking impatient, irritated, and making us feel rushed for absolutely NO reason. We placed our order. Then another server walked by speaking English. We asked if running out of chicken was normal. His response... "The chicken will be done in about 10-15 minutes." That completely changed everything. So instead of our server telling us to wait 10-15 minutes for fresh chicken, he rushed us into ordering something else. Why?! If someone had simply communicated that information from the beginning, half our table would have gladly waited. Instead, we were pressured into substitute orders... And here's the kicker... After rushing us to order, Our food didn't arrive for another 45 minutes anyway. So, what exactly was the rush?! I ended up settling for the Lomo Saltado. I ordered my steak medium rare. It arrived Well-Done. DRY. Tough. The plate was mostly onions and fries with very little ACTUAL steak... Then came the seasoning--or lack of restraint of. Everything was so salty that it overwhelmed every other flavor on the plate. Not seasoned... SALTY. The kind of salty where after two bites you're reaching for water because that's literally all you can taste. Considering they're charging premium prices, neither the quality nor the portion justified the cost. I'm no newbie to this type of cuisine, I've eaten Peruvian food many times, and my regular spot in Los Angeles serves a Lomo Saltado that's significantly better for less money. As if that wasn't enough, one of the servers spilled water directly onto my phone. No apology. No acknowledgment. She simply looked at me confused and walked away as if nothing had happened. The atmosphere didn't match the prices either. The furniture and decor felt inexpensive while the menu prices suggested a much more polished dining experience. Throughout our meal there was constant traffic in and out of the kitchen that made the restaurant feel chaotic and disorganized. Nothing about the operation matched the premium image they're trying to project. What made it even more disappointing was seeing someone who appeared to be supervising or managing the restaurant - doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to address any of it. No one checked on our table. No one apologized. No one asked how the food was. No one seemed remotely interested in whether customers were actually enjoying their experience. By the end of the meal, my family and I just wanted to leave. The only reason we stayed, and didn't run for the door, was because we were with elderly relatives, and moving everyone again would have been much more stressful than simply enduring the rest of the experience. Between running out of their signature dish, poor communication, being rushed to order for no reason, waiting 45 minutes anyway, inattentive service, water spilled on my belongings - without an apology, overpriced food, an overcooked steak, tiny portions of meat, and food so salty it was barely enjoyable, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. The photos I'm posting speak for themselves. I came because of the reviews. I won't be back because of the experience. Save your money. There are far better Peruvian restaurants that actually earn their reputation. This one didn't earn mine.

This restaurants was highly recommended (Facebook) as one of the best seafood restaurants in Yuma…read more Went there for the first time today. Sadly, it was not what i expected. I reviewed the menu and everything sounded good. The Siete Mares soup stood out. We weren't very hungry so my friend and I ordered a fish taco each. Being there for the first time, I also ordered some rice and beans to complement the taco. We also ordered a sweetened ice tea each. It was early in the evening so there were not too many people. The service was fast. Within less than ten minutes we were served. Im sorry to say, the food was not so enjoyable. The fish taco was a bit spicy for my taste. I guess i should have asked before ordering. I tried removing some of what looked like jalapeño and/or serrano chile pieces but I didn't succeed in getting enough chile pieces to make the tacos edible for my taste. I thought i would ease then burning sensation in my mouth with a drink of the tea, but the sweetend tea was entirely too sweet for me to enjoy it, even though it soothed my mouth. I ordered a glass of water. I took s spoonful of the beans, and they were cold. Not sure if the mashed beans are placed on a dish, then warmed up before serving, but these beans were definitely not warmed up. Then the Spanish rice. They were nice and warm but a bit dry and not very soft. A bit of a disappointment. Will I go back? Definitely yes. Now I think I know better. Or At least, what to expect. Maybe la Sopa de siete mares, and a beer, will be better.
