So I will rate this place.... It is a small shop. Very small shop. Today my daughters and I went there. We were not expecting much to be honest. Typical small owner etc.! The lady was amazingly nice who served us. We got $40 worth of stuff. Here is the thing. I just snacked on a donut from there at 11:00 PM. I ordered a dozen glazed to take home. The donut just tasted amazingly fresh and even at 11PM. Seriously, if you want to support a local own business this is the place. Thank you for amazing food. read more

Great spot if you are in the Houston area. Delicious fresh donuts, and delicious hot breakfast options. I do love donuts and one of my favorites is the glazed doughnut. I usually get it from Dunkin' Donuts but the glaze donut from this place is pretty amazing. They have donuts with toppings like chocolate and strawberry, covered in sprinkles. I'm not used to having breakfast tacos but I tried The potato egg and cheese taco combo it was full of flavor and one wasn't enough. I tried for the first time kolaches Which is a pastry or a bread roll with filling. The kolaches I tried were The chicken and cheese, and potato egg . It is a pastry I hope to try again within the Florida area. The best part is the price! A taco is around 299, and a kolache ranges from $1.39 to $2.99. Quick service, average tasting food and high menu prices. Should have gone to a small dinner for the price of 4 items. Convenient to few neighborhood with no similar mom & pops businesses close by. It's family type ambiance, not trendy or classy, expected for such establishment. read more

Since my first encounter with Donut Palace fare years ago in Aransas Pass, Texas, I've been a huge fan. I love their blueberry cake doughnuts, which are always delectable and moist regardless of the time of day. The same can be said for their other creations, which is enough on its own to make Donut Palace locations a comfortable go-to spot for some quality breakfast. This particular location provides the above and takes it one step further by offering outstanding customer service. I came in after close--they forgot to lock the door for a small family gathering--and they nonetheless happily hopped up to serve my doughnut needs and gave me a great deal since it was the end of the day. They even custom made cream filled maples, and let me tell you, they were phenomenal. I won't be moving out of midtown just to get close to this Donut Palace, but I admit the thought briefly crossed my mind as I devoured my doughnuts. I can definitely say I will be back and recommend others to stop in as well. I can't imagine going away disappointed unless they're out of food. The bottom line: with customer service at least on par with their delicious donuts, this is about as good as it gets! read more

Located in the front of Imperial Oaks, it's very family oriented and has long time customers. So long they have children grow up in front of their eyes, their photos are posted all over the wall. Man Heather R lies almost as much as Hillary Clinton. The customer service was top notch. My toddler was being a spoiled brat, screaming at the top of his lungs. I consider myself a doughnut/kolache afficiando and I have to say donut palace takes the doughnut cake!! You can tell the doughnuts are handmade fresh daily something that is unique these days, but every doughnut I have had here has been fantastic. On top of the great food, the owners are very friendly and treat me and my family like their own. Next time you are in the spring/woodlands area I highly recommend stopping in to get yourself a blueberry cake doughnut, a jalapeno kolache, or both!! read more

The customer service was so awful here! The lady at the counter couldn't wait to get rid of me and my kids and there wasn't even a line behind me. The donuts had a bad aftertaste. She forgot to charge me for coffee and because I used my credit card and there is a $4 limit (don't get me started on that) she wouldn't let me have coffee. A very unpleasant experience for a new to spring family. Fortunately, I found donut-licious :) don't settle for this place people! read more

Visited for the first time this morning. Apple fritter was tasty, maple glazed & chocolate glazed sour cream donuts were both average. Giving two stars because I wasn't greeted (at all) and had to actually wait on the decidedly unfriendly girl to come to the counter from the back. (one customer sitting in the shop, mind you - so most likely not busy making donuts) She seemed quite annoyed to have a customer to serve and didn't make so much as a fleeting effort at a smile or a "thank you". Maybe this had something to do with her not wanting to serve donuts in her nightclub dress and full dramatic evening makeup? Just not worth it to revisit for average donuts and resentful customer service. Too bad. read more
