Traditional Gyro and French Fries
Wendy H.

I stopped in with a friend Sunday for lunch. When we came in they weren't super busy so we found a table pretty quickly. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They have a bunch of pastries on display and the woman working behind the counter walked us through every single one of them and explained them all to us. I ordered a traditional gyro with french fries and a strawberry lemonade. The lamb was so soft and tender, it was seasoned very well. It was genuinely one of the best gyros I've ever had. The french fries were cooked and cut fresh. For dessert I had the fresh strawberry torte, it was good not my favorite. However, my friend ordered a different strawberry pastry with a cream filling and it was DELICIOUS. I will definitely be back!

I came here with some friend excited to try this place for brunch but sadly left very underwhelmed. We went to eat on a Saturday morning and the place was packed but thankfully we got a table pretty quick. The menu was pretty straight forward but I am allergic to pork so I asked about a couple of items and decided to get the Traditional Greek Breakfast. I was told by the person who I assume to be yhe owner, that the sausage was beef, not pork. My friends order their meals, some of the specials for that weekend and we go back to our table. Now for the lady who I assumed was the owner, I assumed this because of how she talked to the rest of the staff. Besides herself it seemed like 2 or maybe 3 other people were working their. She was incredibly rude to her staff and I could tell on of the workers seemed very overwhelmed. We waited 45 for one of our four meals to make it to the table and then another 15 for the second and about 20 minutes after that everyone had their food, so yea the wait time was absolutely ridiculous. We did see people who came in after is get their meals first, so I am not sure if your ticket got bumped or what happened but we did ask about the wait time and didn't really get a response about when we might see our food. Once it finally made it out we all felt it was kind of lack luster. Thankfully one of my friends also got sausage and gave me the heads up it was definitely pork. Since I couldn't eat the sausage, my Greek breakfast we a pile of fries with a fried egg and a little feta sprinkles. The only saving grace to this place was the pastries we took to-go. The baklava was superb!

We've lived in the area a while and passed by this corner shop off Champions & Louetta for months, maybe even years... My wife and I went in one date night, and were astonished that we hadn't come sooner!!! My advice... for your first time... stroll across the dessert cases first, sort of going backwards to the order counter; let your eyes indulge! When you reach the counter, Chat with the server, as they are phenomenal at answering your questions and excited to deliver the best culinary results towards your expectations!!! There's no doubt that this is a family business run by true Greek heritage!... She's going to kindly correct your lazy American pronunciations and help you to take part in a little cultural immersion through language and food!... I have had many dishes here since... and have NEVER had a bad item!!!... It's ALWAYS Delicious!!! Gyros are always my easy go to... but don't sleep on the fact that they have GyroNachos!!! I have so much confidence in their products, I use them for ALL of my Premier Open Houses in the area, as I know it is going to be a huge success!!! I even serve their cookies for my traditional Open Houses in the area; I want anyone that moves nearby to be introduced to this wonderful establishment!!! Beyond the Food, the Service, and the quaint mom&pop ambiance; this place is involved in the community!!! They participate in school spirit nights and more. This is truly a GEM!!! If you have room for any desserts, know that they make their own Gelato, as well as everything else they have in the display case that appears to be richer than a politicians lawyer... If you don't have room, take a box of cookies home for later!!! Final thoughts... There is a menu item that my pictures highlight well, as it is my Absolute Favorite item to have there. The Mini Beef Wellingtons!!! This item is no longer a daily offering, as it has to be pre-prepared, and if you don't know, Tenderloin is an expensive item to have to waste if it is a slower service night... Still, you can absolutely preorder them and they will be happy to provide you the experience; and I HIGHLY Recommend!!!

I love this little place. It is small inside, but I never have a problem with getting a table. You order at the register and sit where you want. The lady at the register is there every time I went, not sure if she's the owner. They used to have circle potato fries but they don't have them anymore. They give you a lot of food for every entree even the kids meal. The coffee is good and there's a variety of desserts. Def check it out. They have Gelato also.

Great place for coffee and dessert. I didn't try any plates but the ekmek dessert wow wow wow! It was amazing! First time having this! I usually always have a baklava but wanted to try another type of Greek dessert. The presentation and the flavor amazing. Pairs well with a hot cup of your favorite drink!

This is our go-to pastry and Mediterranean food spot! We love it here :) the ice cream even is made in house. Incredible coffee and food, pastries are amazing. We love it bc it's not too sweet and still full of flavor.

Where have you been all my life? This is an amazing bakery and Greek cafe on Louetta, family owned and run. Their menu is populated with many Greek favorites and their bakery case filled with delicious and delightful options. We were served by the daughter who explained what every pastry contained and even served us up a couple of samples. The pastries here are visually stunning and exquisitely delicious. I couldn't decide on one and ended up with nearly a dozen treats to take home. For dinner I order the traditional lamb/beef gyro plate and was beyond impressed with quantity and quality of meat that was packed up. The pita was light and delicious and the accompanying Greek salad was resplendent with olives and feta. The Greek dinner salad also contained copious amounts of chicken gyro meat when added to the dish. Sweet Greek has a warm and welcoming environment and is sure to appeal to all your senses. It is an amazing addition to this side of town.

This is a charming restaurant serving cafe vibes, good quality Greek food, and exquisite desserts. I stopped by with some coworkers for a quick bite during lunch, and service was friendly and efficient. I ordered the falafel with a side of homemade fries and baba ganoush. The falafel was on the drier side of what I'm used to, but my coworkers raved about their chicken orzo soup and chicken gyros. While the food was nice, this establishment really shines in terms of their sweets. The dessert case is a magnificent display of colors and textures! I could have stood there browsing all day. Between the four of us we shared a variety of desserts, and the standouts for me were the raspberry baklava and kunefe. Parking is in a lot but can get tight during the busier hours. The dining area and bathroom were really clean, but the drinking glasses had a slightly unpleasant smell. Having said that, this is a great place for a casual lunch or to catch up over desserts with some friends. We really enjoyed eating here and will definitely be back soon to sample the other sweets. - Ambiance: 4/5 - Entrees/Food: 3.5-4.0/5 - Pastries: 5/5 - Service: 4/5

Nutella and banana crepe
Jeremy C.

Do they have new owners because I used to come here for crêpes all the time and now two people that work there I think they're the new owners older couple I've never seen them before and I've been there 10 to 12 times said they no longer do crêpes because they've added all this new kitchen equipment. The lady was kind of rude when I went to order a crêpe she kept shaking her head. I don't know what you mean by doing that. I thought she was being funny at first.

WOW WOW WOW. "Food must be a joy, nothing less. Food must be a celebration of our culture, journeys, and self reflections." - Chef Jassi Bindra What a perfect quote to sum up this quaint little spot in Spring. You walk in and get transported to another universe. There is a feeling of familial connection and warmth amongst the staff. Areti is the sweetest and most welcoming! Her father is the head Chef; he has such enthusiasm and prepares with such joy, you could SMELL it before even tasting a crumb. "Ask and you shall receive." If you are wondering exactly what you should get and try, no fear - Areti is there! She guides you through the whole menu items, and by the end of it, you are halfway in buying the entire store. Everything there is mouth-watering and scrumptious! I want to return to try their crepes; they are HUGE and look so satisfying. I think it is cool how they user a small blowtorch to melt the cheese to quicken the cooking time! And, the prices are very reasonable. They make it so you can splurge and indulge without truly burning a hole in your wallet! So you can really enjoy he experience of eating homemade foods:) I wish the best for this establishment, as they grow and thrive!!! The only downside I will say is that they lack advertisement - so spread the world to your people, everyone!!!

But that's just more goodness compressed into a TLP. There are no birthday specials alas. But they did have some free samples of tiramisu. It was good but I had to get my favorites. J's birthday cake and the Big O. The birthday cake is thicker like brownie than some of the other chocolate cakes. I can't describe the frosting this go around because my punk kid at all the frosting off it while my attention was focused on the Big O. But the cake part was moist. As for the Big O it was Ooooohhh. There were a small set of tables to sit inside and enjoy your treats if you wanted to. We got a variety of things to share, tres leches (this is okay, a little sweet and pretty standard), tiramisu, pecan pie bar (delicious but crumbly/messy to eat), Oreo truffles and confetti truffles (my nieces and nephew absolutely loved these)! It was pretty pricey, but always happy to support local businesses!

Have been craving for fries lately and when I saw Common Bond, was very excited but they didn't carry the thick truffle fries which I was so fond of in the other Common Bond. Still, it was good fries and the staff was very friendly.... many high schoolers doing a summer job so they are super nice. Staff was friendly and seemed like some of them were high schoolers or sort of, doing summer jobs so they were extra courteous and cautious - it was very much appreciated The fresh pastries were inviting and they had a big menu of other eats too. For me Common Bond and their specialty small dessert cakes went hand in hand. And this bakery did keep up that reputation- they had some sumptuous looking mini cakes. Definitely worth a visit.
