I spoke to them four times, each time I was told that they would get back to me once they got their notes together. They never called back. I started using Doo Care a year ago after another company's technician left my gate open and my dog ran away. Fortunately someone called me using my phone number on her collar. Doo Care's service is exceptional. I receive a notification about 5 minutes before they arrive and the majority of the time I never hear them working in my back yard. They are thorough and if my pup happens to be in the back yard when they are at my house they often spend a few minutes playing with her, which I find delightful. I always get a quick response if I email the office with a question. They not only respond quickly, but their responses are curteous and professional. If I had been writing this review a month ago, it would have been five stars. I originally hired Doo Care about a year and a half ago. I was impressed that they advertise on their site that their techs use a lawnmower pattern to ensure coverage of the entire yard. I had a good experience with all of the techs who have come out until recently. One day, someone came at about 6 in the morning. She glanced around my yard, didn't walk in a regular pattern, left a couple of piles, and was gone within four minutes. (Yes, I have cameras.) I called the company and asked them not to send her again, and then my regular tech came that afternoon. He was surprised that anyone else had come and said he would mention to the office that I requested he be the one to service my yard all the time. He came out the next two weeks, but then suddenly, another person came. I also had the same problem where they walked sporadically around the yard and missed a couple of piles. I called again, and that's when I was told my regular tech had left the company. Today (8/4), a tech came out and left the gate open when he entered the yard. I was home by myself and happened to be on a call for work, so I didn't realize he was here when I let the dogs out. And I certainly wouldn't have expected him to leave the gate open, but I have always asked the techs if it was ok to let the dogs out when I knew they were here. In the past, this has NEVER been a problem. The previous techs had always pet the dogs, let them follow around in the yard. We have a samoyed and a shih-poo...both friendly, both playful, never a problem. I did receive a very polite voicemail from Doo Care after the service indicating that the technician had done the best that he could and could I please ensure the dogs were not let out in the future. Of course, that wouldn't have been an issue. However, apparently, the technician who came out today is afraid of dogs, and he hopped the fence and left because the dogs "were chasing him." This wouldn't have been a problem if the gate had been closed when he came into the yard. Both dogs got out, which we didn't discover until they had been gone for an hour and a half. We were able to get both dogs back, but when we called Doo Care, we were met with attitude, and Joanne was extremely argumentative, saying that the dogs shouldn't have been out. When I mentioned that the tech shouldn't have left the gate open, she said that it was because the dogs were chasing him (they weren't...I have video). I told her that I don't care that he jumped the fence and left, but when opened the gate, the dogs were NOT outside. I cancelled my service today. Like I said, up until a month ago, everything was fine. But their service and their customer service has really gone downhill. read more

Wrote an email with instructions for the tech which they answered but I waited all day and no one came. Hired them for a one time after winter cleanup. Spent exactly what I thought it would cost. Extremely happy with service. I prepaid and was a bit worried about paying before the service. Absolutely nothing to worry about. They texted 10 minutes before they arrived. So easy. I have had this service for a few years now. I work nights, and it's so nice to come home to a clean yard. Debbie is my usual service tech. I love that I have a consistent person. She knows my yard and always makes certain my gates are locked. I trust her so much. She texts me before she arrives to make sure the pups are in. I have a territorial GSD and an escape artist husky. She also lets me know if she found a dead critter in my yard. I really like Doo Cares system, she sweeps the yard back n forth to not miss a spot. In the winter, I ask for once a week, in warmer months, bi-weekly. The price is so reasonable. I would recommend this service to everyone with pets. This place is absolutely horrible. I know from experience in the inside. I was "hired" by asking to come in for a working interview. They showed me the stuff, gave me a route. I went on my way and did the work. I came back and gave the manager my availability and I never heard from her until the day she expected me to be ready for work, 3 days later, with no notice. I then told her I'm no longer interested in a job that provides such horrible communication. And then THEY WONT PAY ME FOR THE WORK I DID! people...this place didn't do a driving background check, regular background check, didn't ask if my license was current or if I have insurance. I was told in order to get my yard cleaned for free I need to sign a six month contract and pay upfront. I expained that their coupon specifically syas 'no contracts'. So, I've used them now for the last probably 4 years, if not more. I can't quite remember the length of time, but the reason being, I've spoked to the owner as well as the people who actually pickup afterwards, they've done an incredible job keeping my backyard clean. We have four bassets and have used Doo Care for several months. The representatives are always on time and professional and do a thorough cleaning. During the Winter months, when the ground (and wastes) are often frozen, it's not possible to do a flawless job.
