DO NOT BOOK! I am in shock. What a nightmare! The groomer L@-- _ , acted like a caricature of an angry reality show villain out to stir drama with no common courtesy, much less professionalism. She was foul as soon as I opened the door and began unloading on me. My dog is a rescue so he gets anxious and shrinks a bit when people are loud and aggressive & she scared him to death. She did not even say hello, she just began berating me from the hall. She did not return my attempt at cordial words or reconciliatory behavior. Not even a hello, no meeting the dog. She didn't even set foot inside. She caused a loud scene. She has cost the company what would have been a $160 plus travel plus tip service every 6 -8 weeks. I am out of the hospital and in need and this was unnecessary escalatory nonsense. Today, N _y- didn't even enter my unit & in under three minutes in my condo hallway, called me "Rude as f_ck!", audibly for the neighbors. A medical professional was on their way to meet me for an evaluation & before greeting me stated "What was her problem?? She almost ran me over stomping off in a huff!" Common courtesy is part of the service industry. This woman imo should not be working with vulnerable animals unsupervised in a van. She couldn't display compassion for the dog in front of their owner so I shudder to think what would happen alone with a defenseless animal in a van. Her Jerry Springer level antics were unwarranted but this nasty woman N_ y _ swore and stomped away for no valid reason. There was a technical issue. I spoke with a gentleman first thing in the morning, hours prior to the appointment to explain the issue and how to navigate to avoid any problems. It was easily navigable with minor effort. Appliance delivery, a hospital worker, grocery delivery and a physical therapist had no problem with me today. I had other appointments, but my dog was my priority. This alleged professional acted like a sitcom over the top nasty DMV worker with an irrationally irritated attitude, like my mere presence was a hassle for her. I no longer trust this company, because they did not even check on me or text to ask what occurred. That shows (imo) their endorsement of her swearing and lack of concern for customer experience or loss of customers. She refused to listen to explanation for the technical issue & raged like a wrestler on steroids. I planned to rely upon this service every 6 -7 weeks for the foreseeable future while I recover. Her unnecessary actions & dropping the F Bomb have cost them a customer, but they clearly aren't concerned, because they didn't check in or follow up, And that makes me worry for the animals in the care of people knowingly employing someone like this woman, I don't trust my dog with aggressive hot headed persons - nor should anyone imo. read more

Groombar is AMAZING! I needed to get my 2 pups groomed bad. Both are tiny Maltese pups so they need to be groomed frequently. Unfortunately my little girl gets severely car sick so I needed to find an alternative to our regular groomer who we traveled to. Groombar is a mobile groomer coming to us which was immensely helpful with the carsick doggie problem. I easily booked an appointment online with Hayley for a day and time that best fit our family schedule. I was able to send pictures of their rabies vaccination. On the day of the grooming, Hayley gave me notice that she was 30 mins away and I made sure she had easy access to power. Upon arrival Hayley was so kind, friendly, professional, sweet, and caring. She immediately showed her passion for pets and gave my pups attention. She groomed our baby girl first and then the little boy next. Hayley really took her time and listened to what I wanted with each pup. She did an AMAZING job with each of them. They look so stinking cute and adorable. I'm so happy I found Hayley and Groombar! Zero stars if I could. I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I gave my dog to Jasmine for a routine grooming appointment and she was returned with multiple cuts. One of the injuries was so deep that the veterinarian said it required stitches. She ended up needing antibiotics, pain medication, and ongoing bandage changes because of the injuries she sustained while in the groomer's care. To the company's credit, they refunded the cost of the grooming appointment. However, when I asked to be reimbursed for the veterinary expenses directly related to those injuries, they refused, stating that their policy only allows one form of compensation per incident. Accidents can happen but multiple cuts, especially one severe enough to require stitches, are unacceptable. I believe this situation raises serious concerns about the level of care and training provided during grooming. Please be aware. Update to respond to owner: Reimbursement for the vet bills were initially refused due to company policy. Also, an itemized bill was in fact sent directly to you all. I was told it needed to specify what exactly happened, as if the vet was there. However, your groomer, Jasmine, was there and she admitted to cutting my dog and "stopping the bleeding". The medication on the vet bill was Carprofen, which is used to treat pain and inflammation in dogs, and Clavamox, which is an antibiotic for dogs. Let me be clear, my dog did not receive the stitches due to my inexperience with this sort of situation. I was unaware how severe the laceration was. My dog was groomed on June 3rd and taken to the vet on June 8th. The vet stated my dog absolutely needed stitches, however it was too late and it would need to heal on its own, requiring more time and more supplies (Cost of supplies out of my pocket). My dogs grooming appointment was June 3rd at 3:15pm, pictures show my dogs injuries on June 3rd at 6:12pm. read more

Groombar comes to my house and provides professional grooming and bathing to my two dog in their grooming van. Our groomer (Yadira) does a wonderful job. Both dogs (13 years old each and generally cranky) go happily to to van -no dragging, no whining, ever since their first Groombar appointment. They are happy and beautiful when done. The convenience cannot be beat - you just walk the dog to the van and then the next time you see them, tails are wagging and the are neat and trim. read more

I hate writing bad reviews but since I relied on Yelp to book this service, feel it's worth while. Groombar rescheduled my appt from 12 pm to 7:30 am and at 7:30 am reschedule me to between 9-11. Whatever (even though I changed plans to be there at 7:30 am). They then took my 7 year old Westie for her appt at about 10:15. She's regularly groomed and the sister to 1, 3, and 5 year old human children. She's extremely mild tempered and doesn't have any issues with people. Does she LOVE having her nails clipped ? No, but what dog does? She was in the van for about two hours. When she was finally ready at about noon, the groomer told me he couldn't cut her nails because she didn't like it. The groomer tells me he'll send a link to my invoice and leaves. I receive the invoice and it says I'm charged an extra $30 for my "senior, anxious, aggressive dog." None of these adjectives describe my dog. They COULDNT do a service because my dog didn't like it and rather than get a discount, I was charged more ?? I reached out and asked how I could be charged extra time when the website says "truly all inclusive" and that "grooming sessions could take between 1-3 hrs." Their response was that my dog was biting for the hair dryer and when they picked up her back legs, so extra time was assessed. I then received an automated text that said any overtime fees would be waived if I rebook today. This seems like an utter scam wherein they add an overage to get you to rebook. Their claims about all inclusive and no hidden fees are also false as clearly this is a hidden charge/scheme. This also wasn't communicated to me when I picked up my dog or I never would have provided a cash tip. All in all I paid $175 for my dog to be shaved. Won't be a returning customer. read more

I am really disappointed. My never sick dog apparently had diarrhea 3 times in the hour she was in the van. So, other than bathing her 4 times, nothing was done. I still of course, was charged for the "silver" package. And now need to take her somewhere to get her grooming done.
