Our boy Dexter has come a long way with these issues. After each session she e-mails us notes and homework specific to what was covered within that particular session. These notes are so helpful to review. His resource guarding along with his ability to settle himself have improved tremendously. She also helped us with crate training, muzzle training , introducing new people, and supplementing us with a variety of other resources to check into. Jennifer is always responsive to our question and needs. She is alway dependable and arrives at our home with a positive and upbeat attitude. She makes us feel that we can do this. I highly recommend this trainer. Our home has become happier and less stressful. We were at our wits end, and did not know what to do. She gave us a solid foundation to work upon. She trained us how to do it, and to do the training in a positive way, without fear or punishment. I am so thankful that we found her.

I was given…read moreReese to groom my 7 lb Shih Tzu as this was our first experience with this grooming place n groomer. We waited about a month to get in as they have shorter hours and days. The result was per my instructions - i am very pleased with this experience AND confident to continue with her on the grooming from now on. Took 2 hours which was reasonable and the price was too. The grooming room is walled up from the reception which i prefer. There are other grooming places that are wide open for owners to view. It was not drenched with doggie scent like some are.

Other times, I feel like the price is double for no legitimate reason (she does not mat much, and if so, it's on her belly which is always shaved anyway), and my dog comes out with battle wounds. I understand groomers are different, but to not have a consistent experience at a business specializing in grooming is stressful for both me and my dog. To be charged nearly $200 for a 21 lb dog who comes out harmed is not ok. I don't feel confident to trust the experience that would also make my dog anxious about going to the groomers

Getting an appointment was easy and I received a text saying that Ames had an opening that day if I wanted to move up my appointment, which was nice. I got a text from Ames letting me know when he was around the corner and I met him at the truck. Ames was super patient with Henry and gave him plenty of time to check out the truck. I felt very comfortable leaving Henry for his spa day. The turn around was quick. I got a picture of Henry to make sure I liked his look and then was able to pick him up. He was super soft, smelled great, and the best part was that his nails were trimmed! Talk about a Christmas miracle. Normally, Henry resists nail trims with everything he has. Even at the vet when they have the whole team involved, we usually leave without being able to trim his nails. Ames gave Henry a full mani-pedi without any issue or trauma. Ames is magic! Pricing is on the high side ($100), but you are really paying for the convenience of not having to leave home and one-on-one attention. I would happily book Henry in for another spa day with Ames.
