This includes wonderful trainers who can take you from zero to hero as far as someone who NEVER works out, to someone who can develop a fitness routine. Programs: Lots of great programs like Tennis-In-No-Time, swim lessons for kids, and as I said before, great trainers you can book to achieve your personal goals. Tons of equipment to choose from in a bright, open space. Some regulars you can get to know and learn techniques from. CONS: Pool area feels too "open". Don't need peep windows all around the pool. I felt weird swimming in there so I never did. Close it off. Management change up/corporate vibe. Don't let you even hold your account for a month now (even though they used to). It's a pricey, luxury gym with clients that pay more to get more so making people jump through tons of hoops to hold a month for travel, work, etc doesn't gel with that vibe. If you give a months notice this should allow plenty of time to adjust staffing. You have to pay extra for a lot of stuff, so in order to use a lot of what really makes a gym like this worth the extra $ in the first place, you have pay EVEN MORE. Otherwise you are mostly utilizing equipment, classes, and such that you can get at other gyms for way less.

This…read morepark has almost a one square block of fields where soccer games are played, mostly the recreational soccer games organized by the Parks & Rec Department of Orland Park ... but anyone is allowed to come on the fields and play, when not reserved for the organized teams. Our daughter played here in the large Kiddie Clinic Soccer program where they teach young kids the game. Great fun. This park also has two sets of playground equipment for children ... one each for the different age groups. There are also two basketball courts for those that play that sport, and three fenced in tennis courts for those that play tennis. The tennis courts have the added attraction of being lined out for pickleball games also. This is a great park for all to use ... and it is close by in the neighborhood. Try it ...

However, the locker rooms are sort of half updated with a newer sink area but older lockers and showers could use a refresh. Plenty of room to change and shower though. Gym area has enough equipment and it's a good spot to catch a quick workout. Some other areas for classes and really friendly staff - I've never had any negative experiences. A bit pricey but a good spot for the area and conveniently located.

He's taken off his shoes and removed one of his socks... and actually, I think he's crying. :::abridged excerpt from Royal Tenenbaums::: So I don't know a whole heck of a lot about tennis. In fact, beyond the outfits, that there are racquets involved, and that John McEnroe is f*cking hilarious- I'm pretty much clueless. But in the spirit of adventure I accompanied a small but spirited group to the Hinsdale Racquet Club to watch the Univerity of Illinois (Chicago) square off against the University of Chicago in doubles and singles matches. The Hinsdale Racquet Club is the home facility for the UofI team and seemed to be a pretty nice place to whack a few felty neon yellow balls around. The club itself isn't huge, but it's big enough that you can't see what's going on on each court from the front side viewing area. Divided into 2 sides (right and left) with 4 courts each, there can be a lot going on at the same time and it can be difficult for a person such as myself to stay focused on the game at hand. I thought the facilities were great- maybe due mostly in part to there being a nice big indoor fireplace, comfy seats, free tampons (in a pink tin that says 'little princess' on it- photo attached), and all the tea and coffee with flavored creamer you could ask for. These are the kinds of things that win me over. As for the rest of the Tennis veterans, I heard small grumblings about the viewing area here vs other clubs where spectators have an elevated area (like you'd imagine there'd be in a surgical room for overhead observing) to take in the tennis sights. I can imagine how that would be a nice feature to have - or at least a bit better than what HRC has going on right now where one side of the facility has a giant fireplace, flat screens, large tables and plenty of room for sitting where the other side has only 4 chairs and a coffee table between the entryway to the courts and bathrooms and also has an obstructed view with the glass paneling only running about 15 feet into the court. So, not the most ideal there. And like I said, I don't know squat about tennis but as an onlooker, this place seemed just fine and fairly hospitable given the free beverage situation.
