During my "paid" consultation in October 2023, she guaranteed me that our filing would be done before the end of year 2023 since our paperwork was mostly completed and we just needed her assistance to finalize the paperwork with the courts. She continued to push our case to the back of her workload since there wasn't any child support or custody issues to sort through. As a result, we had to start over the filing process at least 3 times due to lack of follow-up and legal representation with the court. She was paid in full for a job she did not do! At the end, I had to fire her as my legal counsel and I filed with the court multiple times to withdraw her as my attorney because she did NOT process any of my paperwork in a timely fashion. Not to mention, my paperwork was almost always incorrectly documented. She continued to push Child Support services when I made it clear that he and I had reached an agreement without the court's input. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ATTORNEY TO ANYONE! Divorces are hard enough with the right legal representation, but she was HORRIBLE. I deserve a refund for services NOT rendered since we finalized our divorce paperwork WITHOUT her assistance/guidance. My ex-spouse's legal counsel said that her work was very poor, lacked professionalism and appears very lazy. It was recommended that I file a complaint with the Bar Association which I plan on doing as soon as possible.
