The Duran Firm Attorney for; Estate Planning, Probate,…read moreWills, Guardianship, Fixed Fee www.Duranfirm Michael Duran is an excellent attorney. He is heavily experienced, organized, detail oriented and provides top notch service. A friend of mine recommended Mr. Duran where he did some probate work for his moms will. Mr. Duran did a Package for me and my wife including our Wills, Trusts, Trustees, Guardianship, Deed transfer for the house, Directive to physician's and family or surrogates etc. This way we get to decide who gets what and when. Otherwise without the proper legal documents the state gets to decide! Besides Michael Duran, who spent a bit of time with me initially answering a lot of questions, my wife and I also had the pleasure worked with Sara his paralegal. She is also great to work with, she answered our questions, worked with us on schedules, appointments, set up Zoom meetings etc. Both Michael and Sara are always available for emails, phone, texts etc. The Duran Firm is absolutely the best at what they do! Highly recommend! Nick

Michael Duran represented me very well during my hearing which went well without issue. I should have the Letter of Testamentary next week. Thanks!!

I would not personally recommend nor trust Cadilac Law with any case after my experience. I hired…read morethem to handle my 2021 property tax protest. In their defense, I hired them on the last possible day, but they assured me that the timing was no problem and that they would turn in all necessary paperwork on-time. They dropped off my paperwork as certified mail that same (deadline) day, but my County's appraisal district did not accept that as postmarked. This shows Cadilac's lack of experience as they assured me that they would get my paperwork submitted on-time but ultimately failed to do so after accepting the job and my paperwork. An experienced firm would have known that a last minute submission would have been futile and would not have assured me otherwise. Instead, Cadilac asked me to provide photos so they could build a presentation, but this presentation was NEVER reviewed by the County due to Cadilac's poor timing and failure to deliver on their promises. In terms of communication and legal support, I asked the staff for additional guidance for my house (relatively new). I never asked for confidential information from their real-life cases, just generic examples specific to houses less than 5 years old. One staff member said they would provide such examples but never did. Another staff member just referred me to their YouTube workshop which did not provide examples for a new build home (i.e., my specific request). At no point did the staff inform me that our paperwork was rejected due to late submission. I had to find out from my County on my own. When I called Cadilac about this issue, they did not apologize and instead shifted partial blame to me for hiring them on the day of the deadline and the rest of the blame to the County for recognizing a different day as the postmarked date. It didn't matter that they accepted the pay and affirmed that they would get a hearing scheduled. Cadilac tried to get my hearing scheduled by filing a motion for "good cause" but the County rejected this. In the end, all the work I put into the photos and descriptions was for nothing, and Cadilac knew that they were stringing their client along for the ride. Their staff had even informed me that the County takes any opportunity to reject cases...so why did Cadilac not inform me and think they could get my hearing scheduled? Cadilac's initial recommendation was to sue the County but I would have to pay even more (~6x of the charges paid thus far). Absolutely ridiculous. We landed at a partial refund for my initial payment, though I believe I should have been refunded 100% since NOTHING I paid for was delivered as promised. They had even told me my photos were great and that I should get a decent property tax reduction. Cadilac should have told me the truth about the case and the late reception from the County instead of stringing me along the way as I had called periodically to check-in on things. Communication with the staff was absolutely terrible and disorganized, over both email and phone. I thought I was hiring an experienced professional but turns out I was hiring an amateur shop. Stay away and save your money for a more professional and transparent legal team that communicates effectively with you and gets the job done.

The lady came off to me with an interesting asshole attitude. She was insulting, rude,…read moredisrespectful and hateful. Ms. Cadilac had no intention of rendering legal guidance to me because she became aggressive and belligerent and admitted she knew facts only shared with the attorney I went to her to investigate about the handling of my case. I experienced sheer evil from her words and while being asked to leave said to her, "God Bless you, Ms. Cadilac. Since you despise me so much I wish you wouldn't charge the prepay to my card for the $50.00 for a consultation fee." She said, "Okay." We'll see. I would never refer anyone for her services. I feel like I've been backstabbed by this attorney.

From the very beginning, she made me feel heard, respected, and protected. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered my questions with patience and kindness, and never made me feel like I was "just another case." During moments when I felt anxious or unsure, Jessica's confidence and reassurance gave me peace of mind and the strength to keep going. What truly sets her apart is how deeply she cares about her clients while still being sharp, strategic, and relentless when it comes to advocacy. She handled complex and sensitive issues with incredible attention to detail and professionalism, always keeping my best interests at the center of everything she did. Because of Jessica, I felt empowered instead of defeated during one of the hardest times of my life. I am beyond thankful for her guidance, dedication, and compassion. If you are looking for an attorney who is not only exceptionally skilled but also genuinely cares about you as a person, I cannot recommend Jessica Fresch highly enough.

If you're a Muslim client wondering if this firm can truly help, this is for you…read more I came to Kelly and Spencer after feeling like my previous attorney was ready to give my ex-husband everything--including the kitchen sink--while disregarding the cultural and religious weight of my requests. When I told my previous lawyer the significance of getting my gold back, he said, "Just ask for his 401k instead." From the very first meeting, Kelly and Spencer went above and beyond. My main issue was that my husband had stolen my dowry and refused to pay the remainder. Some lawyers seemed uncomfortable dealing with that, but not Kelly. She listened to my story with genuine care and immediately understood the reality: I was dealing with an abusive entitled man who expected me to pay the bills while he lived off me. She ended our first meeting saying we'd get my gold back. Kelly and Spencer wasted no time. Kelly told me my initial offer--which only asked for my Islamic rights--was far too kind, considering I was paying rent, covering utilities, working, and doing most of the housework. Still, she respected my wish to stay true to my faith. We sent a Rule 11 agreement to exchange his belongings (which I had already offered) in return for what was mine. Opposing counsel dragged us into court anyway. That's where Kelly and Spencer truly shined. They could teach a master class on presenting a case clearly and powerfully in under 20 minutes. Kelly built a sharp, compassionate narrative: what the dowry signifies, how my husband freeloaded and abused me, and even his audacity to claim that money I spent on my father's car (Islamically, solely mine) was community property. She prepped me down to the smallest detail--so when I took the stand, I was ready. Right before the hearing, opposing counsel tried to cut a deal: give back the gold if I let him keep my watch. Kelly didn't even blink and said "No chance, we're getting all of it back." In court, opposing counsel tried to keep me on the stand so his client wouldn't have to testify. But thanks to Kelly and Spencer's prep, their plan backfired. Kelly guided the court through the reality of my marriage: from the time my ex-husband assaulted me and left me bleeding, to the financial exploitation while I carried rent, bills, and housework alone, to the final days when he demanded I continue living with his abusive mother despite my pleas for safety. Spencer pointed out that in my ex-husband's sworn responses, he didn't list the dowry or jewelry at all--instead claiming land my father had supposedly "promised" him. Spencer showed this for what it was: a baseless attempt to take what was never his. The judge ruled in my favor--ordering my ex to return all my gold and belongings. She went beyond the usual scope of temporary orders by explicitly recognizing my dowry and asking me directly what it was. While she noted final ownership would be decided at trial, her ruling carried the weight of a preemptive judgment. It was a massive win in limited time, with all the nuance my case required. Despite our win in court, my ex still refused to hand over some items in the Rule 11. Kelly stayed on call on a Saturday, taking my sister's calls as she went to retrieve them from his parents' house. My ex hired armed guards to intimidate her, and his family flicked her off--which was caught on tape. Thankfully, I had the sheriff accompany her, who documented the intimidation for court. Meanwhile, my ex still had the nerve to send emails demanding petty items like a $10 pair of scissors and hairbrush. He even listed things I bought before I met him, claiming they were community property. Spencer handled those demands with grace and firmness. TLDR: If you're a Muslim client wondering whether McClure can handle the nuance of your case in a world that can often feel Islamophobic, the answer is absolutely yes. Kelly and Spencer not only know the law, they know how to tell your story with the cultural and religious context it deserves. They fight with precision, compassion, and respect--making sure you're truly heard.
