If I could give them 6 stars I would. Unfortunately I forget the ladies name that massaged me but she was super sweet and explained everything to me as she was doing it, but for the most part was silent. It was a Swedish style full body massage. Not gonna lie some parts hurt but I think it's just because those parts are where I'm the most knotted/tense. My face started to tingle halfway through it. She also gave me water afterwards. It's average priced compared to other massage places but definitely worth it for like a monthly self care day. I've been getting regular massages from Brian for months. I find him to be as much an energy healer as a massage therapist. His techniques are intuitive and unique. Of the many massages I have received over the past decades, I rank Brian's massages at the top. But I have also experienced a variety of diversely trained and skilled energy healers from many cultures and backgrounds and find Brian to be outstanding in this area, as well. He seamlessly integrates these two areas in his work. After every session he asks me how I feel and I can never find the words to adequately respond. I leave speechless. Let me start out by saying that this review is solely based off of my experience. My husband would definitely rate it higher at a 4 or 5 star. We ended up going here to get a couples massage for our anniversary and to get some relaxation. First, they have moved and the place is kind of difficult to find if you're not familiar with the area. They are located in the basement of a multibusiness building and the the signs are not super easy to see from the road. However once you're inside, the elevator is right there. When you arrive, if you're a first time client, they have you fill out a form asking if there is anything you specifically want/don't want worked on and what you are looking to get out of the massage. My comment was relaxation, but I definitely did not leave feeling relaxed. After my massage, it was more so a feeling of exhaustion and soreness. I think my biggest complaint was that my face felt pretty sore and I had a headache. On the form they had us fill out, one of the areas that you could have wrote to avoid was the face, but I didn't think to write that, as in all my other massages, it was just a nice rub of the temples and forehead. This was much more intense massaging of the cheeks and pressure/pulling on the next muscles to the point where I got a headache and my face felt sore the rest of the day. Definitely not what I was expecting or wanting. I also didn't really appreciate the individual doing my massage heavily breathing into my face when working on my head. I'm sorry, but with COVID this did not make me feel comfortable, and kind of put me on edge for the rest of the massage. Additionally some of the leg/hip adjustments seemed to throw my body off whack. There also seemed to be a lack of communication from the person doing my massage, which is something that I'm not really used to. Generally, I feel like the masseuse will talk you through what they're doing or ask you how you are feeling during the massage, that did not happen. Really the only comment that I got at the end was "you survived." Not really reassuring or pleasant. Again, this is just my experience during the couples massage, which seemed more like two solo people getting massaged next to each other. None of it was what I was expecting and I think I would go somewhere different next time. As I mentioned earlier, my husband had a better overall experience with his masseuse as she talked him through what she was doing and left him feeling relaxed. So every year we come up here and my wife decided this year she wants a massage. I looked up massages in door county and this is the first one that came up. It was also close to the hotel we stay. Also close to the water so I was able to drop off the wife and go fish...........when we got there we were greeted by her masseuse Brian. When they were done my wife said that was the best massage she ever had. She had a 90 min deep tissue massage. So it's safe to say from now on we will be coming here Everytime we are in door county. read more

I just Saw Jan today. What a great surprise. I've got a bad right knee I've had a couple surgeries on, she picked up on a inner thigh and outer t band issue worked on it for 20 minutes and I must admit feeling better when I walked out. Her massage bed is very comfortable, it's a very quiet setting as she is an amazing masseuse. This comes from a guy who's been getting massages for 40 years from all different areas around the world.
