I have been to couple of physical therapy places and Doral PT felt like the best place.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I first visited the first 2 Aventura locations years ago,…read morebefore Stretchzone was even a thing, before any locations started popping up. The practitioner there named Perry creeped me out so I stopped attending. Since this location is much closer in proximity to my home I decided to give it a try again, because I truly believed in the concept & always felt great after a good, deep stretch facilitated by someone. This location is hidden, tucked away all the way in the back of a very old shopping center located off NW 36/41st Street in Doral. Parking is a pain considering there's construction being done and cars are always parked illegally. The first time I visited was to purchase a gift card for my dad for Father's Day. The gentleman helping me Deion, while kind was so ridiculously slow, did not know how to use the software program or sell me a gift card & had to call several people to do so. I waited for like 30-45 min to buy a gift card & the entire place was empty. Later I decided to return after a trip & get my free 30 min stretch at that location before purchasing a package. (Mind you these are franchised, but also owned individually, seems like nothing is consistent, cohesive, or uniform between locations.) Two people were present that day, a lady named Vivian & a practitioner named Mariano. Both very kind pleasant people, but sales definitely isn't their strong suit. Mariano failed to inform me that I would be signing a contract for a minimum of two months. Not once did he say I was bound to the package I bought, he in fact told me I could downgrade to the cheaper packages, less sessions per month after my first month so I was in and sold me. I was suffering from sciatica at the time so I figured I would do 8 sessions for the first month then later downgrade to one session a week. Little did I know when I swiped my card on their square iPad reader, they were storing my information and going to continue charging me. Not once was this mentioned to me. I was under the impression I was only paying an up front, one time fee of $279 for the month. I attended twice a week Tue/Thur for almost a month until one day they informed me I couldn't go in on Tuesday as they were undergoing some kind of training (which they're in desperate need of as I find many employees incompetent or unsure of things and proper protocol/procedures) so they could not accommodate me. I didn't mind at the time & agreed to go in on a Wednesday. That Wed, as luck would have it, my AC happened to break & the repair/technician was at my house fixing it in the morning, I knew I wouldn't make it by my appointment time in the early afternoon, so I decided to call & notify someone. Every time you call, you're not calling the actual location you're speaking to people who aren't even at Doral which I find frustrating & inefficient. The lady I spoke to named Cassidy told me there were absolutely NO appointments for later in the day on Wed which I found pretty hard to believe considering it's ALWAYS empty, the demand just isn't there & not many people know about it, its not a high traffic or visible place. So again they failed to accommodate me, the paying customer. I was upset considering I normally go Tuesday's & they could not provide me w/ service that day, so I was being penalized for something on THEIR end, not mine. I ended up losing the session entirely, $34 down the drain & no stretch. No apologies or any form of customer service. I wanted to cancel my package entirely & end my membership w/Stretchzone on the spot. Cassidy informed me I couldn't not do it over the phone so I emailed them immediately after getting off the phone w/ her that morning, yet did not receive a phone call or any sort of reply acknowledging my message on 7/24 regarding my request for cancelation. Fast forward to 8/13 & I receive my credit card statement where I am billed another $279. I was furious. I emailed them again this time I spoke to Esther who gave me another email to try (stretchzonemiami@gmail.com) & not the direct stretchzonedoral@gmail.com which I had written prior. (see why I say there is no cohesiveness or consistency...) No one knows anything they just scapegoat others. They later told me, in an email from Leah, all memberships require a 2 month minimum which was NOT VERBALIZED to me at any point when I first paid the $279. I never even received a paper copy or electronic copy emailed to me of the so called contract & what I signed. Their website might be official and snazzy, but their locations are lacking big time. Again the concept is great, the execution not so much. They need better management & new knowledgable employees. I ended up filing a dispute w/my credit card comp & will contact BBB for their questionable practices. On 8/15 I received a voicemail from one of the owners named Mike, no apologies or mention of anything, just left me his number to call him back, no thanks.

They make you sign a monthly contract for services and then make it difficult to cancelread more
