It got to the point that I had to go to urgent care to then go to a podiatrist to then be told I needed physical therapy. Luckily for me, I got sent to Florida Occupational Healthcare. For a month, three times a week, I had therapy at 7 in the morning. To begin with, I'm not even a morning person, yet these people made it worth my while. I didn't dread coming in the morning. I was always treated with kindness and respect. From the receptionists to the physical therapists, every single person working has a smile on their face. Not to mention that one of the therapists, Danny, makes some amazing coffee. That aside, my therapist was Alain and I'm grateful that he was with me in my journey to fully recover from my sprained ankle. He wasn't just my therapist, he was someone who pushed me to do better in and out of therapy. I don't doubt that now that I return to the gym I will be taking with me some of the exercises I did at physical therapy. All in all, I'm glad that if I had to get physical therapy, I got sent here. They treat you like family. I'm happy I've healed, but I'll miss everyone. I guess with that, I have one thing left to say: Thank you, all, for doing what you do.

Cici - who is at the front desk was extremely helpful. My experiences have been with Tamara and Elizabeth. Tamara is the perfect person for any physical type of therapy. She is diligent, responsible and professional. Yes, it certainly does hurt when you are going to therapy, but it also hurts prior to surgery and during the healing phase - at any time, not just for therapy. However, after you leave the session, you begin to see the distinct difference in your well-being. Tamara is diligent in what she does - she is the number one pick in my book. As a matter of fact, I am scheduled for the other knee surgery and I will definitely want Tamara ...In addition, after all my insurance allotment is done - I will purchase a package to stay with them. Elizabeth, is friendly and caring and with Tamara it is a match made in heaven. I don't write reviews - but it is always important to acknowledge the good people in business. Once again, the staff was great, knowledgeable, encouraging, and they coordinated well together to execute my recovery plan. Their facilities are immaculately clean and I have their full attention when I am there. They also provided me a full online resource for my daily homework. I picked the Doral location because it's close to work. Having recently started at a new position and being in my probationary period, I had to deal with a super basic insurance before my employer's policy kicks in. Karla, the office manager, was really helpful in calling and dealing with the company thus saving me that "headache". After previous home & alternative remedies weren't working, I called this office. It's located in a Doral office building and next to another orthopedic practice. From what I understand, the other office is OrthoNow's "home base" where I would go if my condition doesn't ger better. It's also where OrthoNow does their imaging. When I visited, Melissa who does double duty as an xray tech & medical assistant, took my vitals and took me downstairs for xrays. After the x-rays, I was checked out by William the nurse practitioner, who reviewed and said that basically I have tennis elbow, so I have to take it easy for at least a little bit on the weights.
