Dr. Mintz came recommended to my family many years ago. From the very first visit, I knew Dr…read more Mintz was the primary physician I wanted to use. He took the time to sit with me, listen to me, and got to know me. He is very thorough with all his exams, even goes that extra mile "just in case." Most doctors don't take the time to listen. They are already thinking about the next patient. Not Dr. Mintz. You are his main priority when he is in the room. The office personnel are so helpful and caring, as well. If there is a problem with insurance or paperwork, they will take the time to walk you through on what to do. The nursing staff is well trained and there is never a problem with them taking blood or doing the pre-testing. I recommend this office to anyone that is looking for an internist. And if you are reading this, Dr. Mintz, thank you taking care of my family for so long! You are the best!

I was there for almost 2 hours and would have been there longer if I didn't walk out while waiting for the doctor to come back into the room. I voiced my frustration to the receptionist about my current visit and past visits, and her response was that is how it is and if I told the doctor he wouldn't care. I like Dr. P but the lack of regard for people's time is making me consider switching doctors.

I have been a patient at the NYU Langone Bethpage practice for three years, but my recent…read moreexperience with Dr. Linzer was so completely disrespectful that I am moving all of my care elsewhere. I had a 3:15 PM appointment. I waited in the lobby until 4:15 PM with zero communication about any delays. I was brought into an exam room, had my vitals taken, and was left sitting there for another 30 minutes. At 4:45 PM, an hour and a half past my appointment time, I had to leave. The support staff here are excellent. Crystal was very helpful in setting everything up, and Cheryll at the front desk was compassionate, respectful, and apologetic as she processed the refund for my co-pay. Dr. Linzer, however, was incredibly unprofessional. While I was at the desk, she came out looking visibly agitated. Instead of apologizing for the massive delay, she abruptly demanded to know if I was leaving or wanted to be seen. When I told her I found the wait and the experience disrespectful, she immediately cut me off, cited "emergencies" in an aggressive tone, and quite literally stormed away. Given how I saw her handle this situation, displaying a complete lack of poise and compassion, I am truly glad I didn't receive any medical care from her. I would strongly encourage anyone considering using her as a physician to take that into account. Her time is not more valuable than her patients' time. If you want a doctor who treats you with basic professional courtesy and respects your schedule, look elsewhere.

This new NYU Langone facility at 1111 Franklin Ave was the practice my doctors were at was moved…read morefrom their previous location on 975 Stewart Ave. The location is easy to find and a 15 minute walk from Mineola LIRR. Parking is easy with parking on every level. Also, this location is in a good school district and feels well-maintained, safe, and well-resourced. The facility is bright, clean and modern. The staff members are welcoming and friendly. The care team here is patient, kind, reliable, caring and understanding. The doctors accommodate my special needs by extending my appointment times to 30 minutes when needed. The patients are approximately 90% White, 2% Asian, 5% Hispanic, and 3% African American. Around 70% were born in the USA and had moved to the U.S. before age 12, 80% came from highly educated families, and 70% are financially well off. I am pleased with the quality of care here and feel comfortable coming here. Even though I am always the only Asian person here, I felt welcomed, safe, respected, and supported, especially as a person with a disability in that environment. As a person with a degree who values quality Healthcare, I highly recommend this NYU Langone facility. The doctors I especially recommend are Dr. Ekaterini Hatzis (Christian, husky lover, half holistic), Dr. Khalilah Knight, and Dr. Berrin Monteleone.

Thank you Tassy, Susan & Pam! Oh yes! I said Susan & Pam! Anything you've done to 'help' patients…read moreis irrelevant now that you've disappeared with Tassy! Morally, your both just as responsible for everything any of Tassy's current patients do! I wouldn't want that on my conscious after running into a couple of them waiting in the hall (hoping you were going to show up & open the office) the day of my appt. Let's not forget working in a doctor's office automatically makes you a mandatory reporter for the state. So they choose to run Tassy's office without him (or at least without him seeing patients) instead of reporting whatever was going on in that office to the state! You guys give him a jump start on running off? Left you to the sharks, did he? Let's hope so. Let's also hope the three of you land yourselves behind bars where you belong. I needed a fill in doctor after relocating. I thought he was a quack, but I started feeling better after a few med changes (all of you know how hard it is to get into an office in under 60-90 days) so I kept seeing him. My family said the changes were positive and I felt level. But now thats all down the drain, and I'm wonky and sick for Christmas. The three of you are a disgrace to the human race.
