Btw because I dealt with them I recognize the employees and friends of theirs leaving good reviews for themselves. So all the good ones are scams, subtract those and you'll have full bad reviews I unfortunately and to my great misery dealt with this company 2 times and a buddy of mine 1 time. Three things to consider: 1. They will keep your car for MONTHS at a time and never return unless you pay a crazy premium 2. They will take a HUGE cut out of the check you could get from insurance which btw will not be any different from what you'll get if you do it yourself in a day or two, plus a week to wait on the check in the mail. 3. They will disassemble your car as much as possible and when requested to put it all back (even the non damaged parts) they say that's not our job, take it to a body shop. They keep your car for months saying we're trying to maximize your payout, but in the end they only get the money the insurance would've payed in the first place, collect their HUGE commission, additional fees for dissembling the car, and then and only then release it back to you. Oleg Filev is the worst person you can do business with. Claims express operates on completely empty promises they never fulfill and will give you the worst headache to deal with!!!! She initially said the appraisal would take a few days, but it ended up taking almost a month and repeated contacts. Unfortunately, she accidentally appraised my property, instead of the address I had requested (in writing and in person). When I informed her of the error, she refused to either refund me or appraise the correct property. I ended up having to take her to small claims court to get a refund, where we won a judgment for the full amount plus expenses. She was extremely rude in court. I would avoid her at all costs.

I had never had this type of appraisal done before and wasn't exactly sure what questions to ask. Steven provided information about this process and asked detailed questions about things I hadn't thought about. He accommodated my request to do the appraisal without entering the home (we have tenants there). I didn't realize that he would check county records, but he did and he even called the county to check on some information that appeared to be missing. I wanted to refinance my home loan and found eRates on zillow.com. eRates ordered appraisal from…read moreCentral Valley Appraisal. The appraisal was done by Terre O' Bryan and was totally incorrect. In addition to incorrect appraisal, the lender made so many errors on the loan documents. We bought 2173sq ft. 4 bed room, 2 1/2 bath brand new home in 2010, but the appraisal showed 2159sq ft., 3 bed room, and 2.1 bath. On the other hand, eRates interest rate on the good faith estimate were different than what I was promised. At one point, eRates sent me a good faith estimate with a cost of about $11,000. I was told the cost will be about $1,600. Christopher C. Manzella was my loan officer. I emailed him (copied to Central Valley Appraisal) and informed that the appraisal was incorrect. Also, I informed him that I cannot proceed with the loan with these incorrect information. I didn't proceed with this loan and I want everyone to be careful with these two companies. They are adding to mortgage industry mistrust that borrowers have. I'll be filing complain to proper authorities on this matter.
