This is a dental office with several receptionists, several dentists, several hygienists, for children, but I wish it was available when I was a child - they have 13 flavours of toothpaste children can choose to get their teeth cleaned with (10 regular flavours: birthday cake, cool mint, cotton candy, strawberry, piña colada, juicy grape, watermelon, white chocolate, sprinkles (donut/sugar), bubble gum+ Secret menu (today): orange, cherry, blue raspberry)). And they get to watch Netflix at the dentist - I either get to stare at the ceiling or watch a really old slideshow at my dentists growing up and now. Her fave part is getting 3 quarters to use at the toy vending machines (though I think different hygienists give a different amount - some give 4 quarters and some even give other things like sugar free lollipops and stickers?) - it's weird that not all hygienists give the same amount to every patient. My kid gets toothpaste, floss picks, and a manual toothbrush. They don't get to choose the stickers or floss sticks - but they do get to choose toothbrush and toothpaste (my kid doesn't like the blue one so she got two strawberry flavoured ones). The main draw for my little one is getting quarters to use in their toy dispensers after his appointments. Dentists, assistants, hygienists and admin staff are all lovely and try their best to make your kiddo feel as comfortable as possible. It really shows. My son has been coming here since he was two, and recently had to get three fillings done. Dr. Monika and her assistant worked quickly and efficiently to get them done as quickly as possible and were able to do all three in one visit. He was still complaining of tooth pain while chewing a couple weeks after so I called Smile Squad and they fit him in a couple hours later and were able to adjust the fillings and he's been fine since. I appreciate they were able to get him in so quickly. I will continue to bring my son here, and my daughter once she starts getting more teeth. They are also in the same building as a paediatric clinic which I've heard great things about, and had a good experience with recently doing a phone consult with one of their doctors. Can't speak highly enough about the operation they're running here. Oh, and bonus- right across the street from Dutch dreams so another bribing tool to get your kids to behave for their appointments! :)

They were extremely patient with our daughter, played with her to get her more comfortable before performing the exam. Took their time to check her teeth and explained us everything clearly at the end. They had a TV screen above the dentist's chair to keep the kids engaged that might help with older kids too. Our daughter was too busy playing with the water spout in the sink to watch the TV. :-) The prices seemed inline with other dentists, just much better experience for the same buck. I would highly recommend them for kids. We haven't tried them for our treatment so can't say if they gouge or not. Will update my review after we have tried them for our treatment.

I want to start off by saying I'm so surprised this place doesn't have more reviews…read more I went to this place for about 14 years and I can honestly say it deserves all the accolades you see on those walls. The receptionists are so sweet and easy to coordinate with which makes a really huge difference because that's technically your first impression. The dentists are all very kind and disarming (because I know many are uneasy about dentists), and provide top quality care. I really liked coming here, and wish I could continue--alas I moved too far. The wait isn't usually too long and the waiting area always has a movie of some sort playing. Usually a kids movie but, lets be honest, anyone can get into those LOL When you go in to see a hygienist or dentist they have very comfortable chairs, are very welcoming and transparent regarding what's going on and also have TVs on the ceiling (which I loved as a kid). I definitely recommend coming here, I don't think I've had even one negative experience to date.

They were aware I was very anxious. My husband took him for the appointment. They were only able to do one tooth with him awake and told my husband the rest would have to be done with full sedation. After the appointment he spoke to the front desk lady and told her he would speak to his wife and call them for an appointment as my son was agitated. He was IN THE PARKING LOT lot still buckling my son up in his car seat, when I got a call from the same lady who told me she needed to book an appointment. I was not even aware that the procedure ended as my husband didn't even have the chance to call me (BECAUSE HE HADN'T EVEN LEFT YET). I said "oh they're done?" Her exact words were" Yah your son didn't do well at all so we have to book a full sedation appointment to do the rest." I was obviously taken aback as I was already anxious. I told her to at least give me a chance to speak to my husband and see what happened. He had just got into the car when I called. I complained to the Manager and got nowhere except an insincere apology. For the little dental work he did get done, the Dentist was good - but for God's sake get better office staff, maybe ones who can understand simple etiquette when dealing with parents and their children's care. We ended up never going back here, and found THE BEST dental care for our child at AppleTree Dental for Kids.

My dentist (Dr.Okera) always makes me feel comfortable and has always done a great job at cleaning my teeth. A few years ago when I needed a cavity filled, I almost had a heart attack. Dr.Okera calmed me down (which is hard to do), and filled my cavity causing me absolutely no pain! The dental assistant (Manjit) is always so nice and sweet, I actually always ask to make sure she is assisting Dr.Okera as she does an exceptional job. If you are scared of going to the dentist, or have had a bad experience in the past, I highly recommend this office and these individuals!

Flash forward to today, I was immediately put at ease when I walked into Upper Village Dental because felt the friendliness of the staff. During my teeth cleaning appointment, Lexi ensured that I felt comfortable the whole time, and her communication skills are impeccable! I can see why all of the reviews for this place are GLOWING. Overdue review…read more Upper Village Dental Care is a great place to visit for all your dental needs. My first few visits was with dental hygienist Shawna( sorry if I misspelled it). She was absolutely phenomenal! I returned because of her. She then went on maternity leave and Ashley took over the appointments. I was surprised, she was also amazing! Both of them have a great personality and did a great job. There's TV's on the ceiling, the place seems very clean. Dr. Peter helped me out with my remaining appointments and although I was nervous, he did a great job. I highly recommend this place. And who doesn't want to do a yelp check in for a free teeth whitening gel?
