No visit to Loreto is complete without a visit to Dory Luz. Highly recommended! A delightful, outdoor garden that just happens to cater to hungry people who desire ambience.

The Best Restaurants are a Hole in the Wall; the restaurant is small but the flavors are big; the food is homemade including the corn tortillas. Service was great. Definitely we are coming back.

This is my favorite spot to eat in Loreto. It has charmingly rustic outdoor dining, the most delicious homemade food and such friendly service. Both breakfast and lunch are so good. Each day there is a different special, green enchiladas and chile rellenos are favorites. I am partial to the Quekas, especially those stuffed with rajas con crema. Don't miss this place when in el centro.

Great little restaurant just off the main street. This is true Mexican food which we refer to as "casera", or "homemade". Nothing commercial or fast-food about it. It's as if Luz Maria (owner) invited you into her kitchen. It's small and surrounded by dozens of plants under a straw covered roof. The chilaquiles with chicken are crunchy with cream and a tangy green sauce. The stuffed queka (think empanada) topped with lettuce, cream, and red salsa is amazing. The sope is pan-grilled so it's crispy and not soggy like some fried ones. Tortillas are hand made. But above all is the service....Arriba Juchitlan!!!

This is by far one of the best, if not the best breakfast place in Loreto. Everything made fresh in front of you, all homemade tortillas and all items are organic. Coffee was really great as well and organic. Will have to return tomorrow.....

Loved her daily specials. Pozole on Wednesday is a must and try her dessert! Place is surrounded with plants making it a really cute spot for brunch.

The tacos were loaded with perfectly cooked meat, grilled onions, fresh pico, and then you get to hit the little salsa station to top it exactly how you like it. Great variety and just the right amount of heat. And the pescado... unreal. It was so amazing I didn't even get a photo because I basically swallowed it whole . That's how good it was. What really stood out though was the kindness of the people running it. Super welcoming, hardworking, and genuinely friendly. You can tell they care about what they're serving. Simple spot, amazing food, awesome people. If you're in Loreto, don't miss this place.

Came back after noon, and it was quite busy. It's a little confusing because no one greets you at the door, nor is there an order counter. But just grab a seat wherever you can find one, and someone will come to get your order. They had 4 options available that day. We got the fish and carne asada. Go with flour tortillas if you can. I usually prefer corn, but we got a couple of each, and the flour were the best. All the tacos were delicious and having the salsa/topping bar is great, so you can add whatever hot sauce, salsas, and veggies. There were only 2 workers there, but they were working their butts off. Definitely try it out - just be prepared to be patient - it's worth it. They are super nice and the food is great!
