My issue was not with the store's layout or product selection, it was with the employees. There were 5 or 6 employees, including a security guard. One employee was checking out another customer with the security guard leaning on the counter behind them. The other workers were standing around, close to the check out counter, talking. I patiently waited my turn in line and an employee came over to help me. She kind of gave me a hard time about a coupon I received for signing up for emails through the Skechers website but she finally scanned the barcode. When it came time to pay, my husband tapped his card and we waited for the employee to continue the transaction on their side so we could get our receipt. We waited for about 30 seconds while the employee helping us was talking to their coworker and telling another one goodnight. I finally asked them if they needed to do something on their side and the employee said they're still waiting for us to pay. My husband had already tapped his card when the card reader prompted him to so I guess it was something on the employee's side. Either way it took me asking them about finishing the transaction for something to happen. The employee finally hit something on their side and we got our receipt. The employees all seemed distracted by their coworkers. It's a nice store so we might be back, but I kind of wish they had self checkout lol.
