I had bought some art in Cuba on canvas that needed to be stretched and framed. A new friend suggested I go to Dostie Bros and I'm so glad that she did. The shop contains a robust array of framing options. The owners are really nice and helpful. They worked with me to determine what they could do within my financial means. They then gave me an estimated delivery time to expect completion. The work was done by the estimated date and I'm so pleased with the results! They did a fantastic job that was well worth what I paid. I'd come here again for any framing needs. read more

In Burlington it may not be strange but trust me: the D Men are quality artisans and over the top beyond and above customer service even by the true hearted Vermont standards. That rarest of instances where you'll say "I was framed!" and you'll be happy as hell! You walk in their shop and it's a framing wonderland. Take the time to drink in piece after piece. Appreciate talent. Then enjoy the shopping experience where they focus on you and what you want 10000%. No hard sell, no upsell just honest, talented fair minded caring souls. The proof of the quality is on the wall. Soon it will be on mine. It can be on yours too. I entrusted them with a personal Project but I live in New Jersey and never not once did I ever get the slightest sense they didn't care as much as they did I walked in. I cannot praise and applaud them enough. We're this world full of Dostie Framing Friends. A true jewel in Burlington and in Vermont and in the United States. Get thee to the framery! read more

The custom framing job I got from these guys was beyond expectations. Very professional. The glass, matting and wood feel substantial - solid framing job. Paper backing. The hardware in the back was not the cheap stuff, it was industrial-grade. And they included a nail and hook, which was a nice gesture. All this for a 100 or so bucks which is so cheap to be almost ridiculous. On top of it they shipped it to California to me in a custom shipping box, which in itself was hand-constructed and built to survive a nuclear apocalypse. read more

Dostie Bros. opened on September 1, 2011 at its current location in the historic Kilburn & Gates Building at 308 Pine St. in Burlington, Vermont and are proud to be members of SEABA (South End Arts and Business Association) and to be located in the heart of the South End Arts District, where the artists are! At Dostie Bros. we are committed to an ethos of service, quality and a competitive pricing structure designed to meet the needs of each individual client. Dostie Bros. Frame Shop offers its clientele a unique custom picture framing and fine art gallery experience! Established in 2011.

Dostie Bros. Frame Shop was opened by the Brothers Dostie. Alex Dostie is a professional custom picture framer, visual/performance artist and Studio Boss who has been living and working in Burlington for more than 10 years! He is the manager of the Box Art Studio on Pine St, the President of Art's Alive Vermont, a principle officer serving on the board of directors for the Green Candle Theatre Company and a current member of Team Vermont Snow Sculpting the 2012 Nationa Team. Jeremy Dostie has over 10 years of diverse experience as a professional. He graduated from the University of Vermont in 2000 with concentrations in Geography and Studio Art/Photography. He began his professional career as a Flood Map Analyst with U.S. Determination Services / PCi Services in September 2000 in Boston MA., analyzing flood hazard zones affecting residential and commercial real estate. In September 2004 Mr. Dostie founded DostC, and began working under contract as a flood hazard consultant from cen
