Double C Home inspections was the first company I called based on google reviews to set up my inspection. My realtor gave me a list of inspectors to call, and this one was on the list. After talking to the inspector, Cale, I felt good about hiring them to inspect. This home had been on the market for over 3 months and was nearly 70 years old, and I was really worried about possible foundation damage. The inspector made me fell like he could really solidify whether or not a problem existed after talking to him. He inspected the home and took about 2 hours and it seemed like Cale was very thorough, and then he went over everything with me at the end. Later that day, I got my report via email and I was impressed with the detail of the report; lots of pics and descriptions and info I'd never even considered before! It's great to know that I'm not wasting my dough on a money pit! I'm glad we contacted Cale, and did our due diligence. I'd definitely encourage anyone else to do the same. Ask questions, research companies yourself, don't just use the first contractor, inspector, whatever that the realtor recommends. Anyway, happy with my choice! BE WISE PEEPS! read more

Cale Cameron with double C inspections located in Lubbock texas did a decent inspection. He did miss decking damage that was visible from the attic that resulted in a roof leak within the first 2 months of being at our new home. I also asked for somethings to be fixed before we closed on the home. And payed Cale an additional $100 to look over these things to see if they were properly repaired. He told me they had been fixed when they had NOT BEEN FIXED. So we have electrical splices in our attic that need to be properly fixed and put into junction boxes and a leaky roof. I tried to get a refund but Cale Cameron was not going to give one. He did however do a great job on giving me the run around..... My opinion is to use someone else besides this fella. I called this company based on their Google reviews, which were much more diverse, almost a year ago now. Glad I did! Cale, the inspector, was early to our soon to be new home, and was more thorough than I would have guessed a home inspector usually is. The inspection itself took a little over 2hours, and when he was done, he took time to walk the house and show my wife and I what he considered significant issues, one of which might cost us $3k or more to fix, and what he considered routine items that he sees all of the time. We both felt like we got our money's worth from this company, and happy we researched local inspectors for ourselves. I would definitely recommend this company in the future! read more

Inspected home I am purchasing on 121st St in Lubbock. Cale came highly recommended by a friend of mine that has used him to inspect her home last year. He took his time and I was pretty blown away by how many issues he found in the home. It's funny because I thought newer homes had no problems. Whoops.
