You can fault them in the ambience category but the food makes up for it. I had a craving for Chinese food our whole vacation and finally had a chance to fulfill it. Being the only option in town I had very low expectations. We had the chicken fried rice, ginger beef, wontons, and pork Shanghai noodles. Everything was delicious. The meats were all of good quality and had large pieces. The ginger beef had a homemade sauce that was gingery but also had layers of other flavours that gave it a real depth. I'd happily trade any and all Chinese food restaurants in my hometown for this one. The best Chinese food I've had in awhile. read more

So my wife worked in Clearwater for like 2 months on a locum position. Being from the mainland, w we all drove to Clearwater. This restaurant is a hidden gem, literally, the owners live on the ground floor. The restaurant is upstairs. We ordered fried rice, won ton soup, noodles and couple of chicken dishes with sauce. The food is out of this world, the spring rolls are the best. I have personally added this restaurant on yelp because they deserve to be here, people need to hear about this place food is soooooo good. I've only given like 2-3 five star ratings but this place is a must must go if you are visiting the Nicola valley region or even kamloops. It's family run business. read more
