Alex was punctual, explained in great detail the prep and work needed which included sealing several cracks on our deck over years of wear and tear, and he provided a very detailed estimate on-site from his car and we set up an appointment for end of March. Alex sent me a text message on Sunday, March 27th to let me know the weather forecast predicted heavy winds and rain on Monday and on Tuesday as well. I had also viewed the 10 day forecast and I was going to contact Alex to postpone the painting. However, he was very organized and we re-scheduled the job for Wednesday, March 30th. He was prompt and on time Wednesday and worked all day repairing cracks and applied the first coat of paint. I could already tell it was looking much better. He came back this morning on time and he applied a second coat of paint. He finished at around 10:30 am and I thanked him for an amazing job well done. We hired Susanna and her crew to paint the interior of our home. She did an absolutely amazing job. I could tell from the moment we met her that she cared about the quality of her work. She and her crew were meticulous and careful throughout the job. On the final day of the job they cleaned thoroughly and did "touch up." Sussanna made sure there wasn't an errant drop of paint to be found or an inch of wall space missed. She made sure everything blended perfectly. Her work was perfect. Her price was VERY reasonable for what we got and I couldn't have asked for better quality work. It's like we've moved into a new home. My husband tried to follow up via phone and text, but received no response aside from the sound of crickets. Honestly, if you're going to operate a small, independent business, you still need to have customer service skills and integrity. Buying a home and requiring a full interior and exterior paint job is pretty significant, and now that we have hired another company for close to 10k, Chromatic lost out. I'm not sure what the issue is with the lack of integrity, but it's disappointing because Susanna's work looks incredible from the photos on yelp. We are bummed we did not have the chance to see her work. Save your time and look to other five-star painting companies that respond promptly and provide much more professionalism.

It is a family owned and run business and pride of ownership is clearly evident. They spent five days painting our 1700sf home and they were painstaking in every detail. They repaired cracking seams in the drywall of our ceiling, filled in dents/small holes in walls, removed blistered paint in the bathroom, caulked gaps in baseboards, and performed every other task necessary to ensure a flawless result. They moved furniture, removed/replaced all blinds and drapes, leaving us to only have to remove hanging items from the walls. They didn't just paint around fixtures, but removed them (wall socket covers, door knobs, etc) to facilitate full coverage. They used top quality paint that perfectly matched our chosen color scheme. Attention to protecting our furniture, floors, cabinets, and other home decor items was impressive. At the end of each day, they straightened everything up, cleaned up and left our home livable. When they were finally done, everything was immaculate; we only had to replace our hanging items to their original locations. I cannot imagine getting more value for our money. We will soon need our home exterior painted and we will without hesitation ask Willis Painting to help us once again.
