That's a stupid policy. Today i tried to spend my money that they are forcing me to spend there, and the gift card doesn't work! How greedy! How stupid! i was a daily customer! it was clearly their mistake. if you shop there, bring a calculator and double check the total, because if they overcharge you, you'll never see that money. They dont trust their own cashiers to handle a $3 mistake. why on earth should we trust their employees if they dont? This place would benefit from new, less greed focused management. if it were my business, i would have apologized and comped the customer's whole purchase instead of losing a daily customer. You're not the only convenience store in town, after all.
