This omission was significant, as I informed the officer of her name and age at the scene. Because I am currently pursuing a legal claim, my attorney requested a corrected report reflecting accurate occupant information. After reviewing the report, I requested corrections and re-provided my daughter's information to the Lieutenant and was advised to allow three days for the update. However, I was later informed the Lieutenant had gone on vacation, and despite leaving multiple voicemails, I did not receive a return call. When I contacted the Records Department, I was advised that the report had been corrected and that I could pick up a revised copy. However, the amended report still contained errors, including my daughter's incorrect age and the omission of her gender. I returned to the Records Department for clarification and was advised that I would need to follow up again with the Lieutenant. I left another voicemail but did not receive a response or confirmation that my request had been completed. As a result, I made two in-person visits to the Records Division in an effort to have the report properly corrected. Due to work obligations, I was unable to continue visiting in person, so my mother retrieved the report on my behalf (a third visit). Unfortunately, upon review, the necessary corrections still had not been fully made. I then contacted the Records Supervisor to explain the ongoing issue. During that call, the Records Supervisor's tone was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I felt that I was being spoken to in a condescending manner and not given the opportunity to fully explain the discrepancy I was seeing in the report. At one point, I was essentially told that I was not correctly understanding what I was looking at, despite the fact that the document in my possession still contained errors. It is possible that the wrong version of the corrected report had been printed or provided. I attempted to clarify the remaining errors and offered to provide documentation for reference; however, this was declined. I was told a corrected copy would be emailed to me. Although I ultimately received a corrected report, the process required multiple visits, repeated follow-up, and significant time and effort that could have been avoided with more thorough attention to detail and improved communication. My concern is not that an initial error occurred, as mistakes can happen, but rather the repeated failure to ensure the report was fully and accurately corrected, as well as the manner in which my concerns were handled. I did not feel I was given the opportunity to fully explain the issue before being interrupted and redirected. As a member of the public, I believe citizens should be able to raise concerns and seek clarification without being dismissed or spoken to in a disrespectful manner during communication. This experience created unnecessary frustration during an already stressful process involving an accident and an active legal matter. I hope this review will reinforce the importance of accuracy, accountability, and professionalism in public service interactions.

In my teenage years, me and the court system didn't quite get along, and the people that worked in these places are horrible. I have always wondered why government employees act like their lives are so miserable. But not this place. Even the security personnel were very nice. Good Ol Southern Gentlemen. When I was going through the metal detectors, I had to put back all my earrings and necklace, and it took me a while. One of the guys stood there the whole time holding my purse. They teased me until I came back out and called me "Pretty Lady with the Red Purse." Well, that was a kind thing to say! I came in to fill out my paper work. Make sure you have your county issued Driver's License. If it is issued by a different county, then you have to go there. I cant remember the exact price but I think it was around $40. Then you wait for the Judge's secretary to come take your picture. Then you have to get a money order for about $50 (they will tell you the exact amount) and go get your background check and fingerprints. Now, around here, the best place to do it is down the road. There is a UPS store that processes the fingerprinting and a Kroger where you can get your money order. The whole process was about an hour and a half and the only thing that made it even that long is because there was a line at the UPS. I waited a week and Voila! I am now a responsible gun carrying citizen of America.

Having a PO Box supports the operation of the Post Office, so this is a slap in the face to their customers that directly support them. Many of the employees are rude and argumentative. If you are able, the smartest thing that you can do is avoid this post office altogether and go to the nearby Winston post office.
