This is an update on my review. Douglas was suppose to come back to cut the bolts for the closet doors. He did return to install the door handle but the screws are too big. He told me he would return to fix it. I texted him 3 times he did not answer or reply. Yesterday he said he would be here between 2-4 pm I waited all day for him. I am very upset about him not showing up. He never called me to cancel or re-schedule. In my opinion I would hire someone else who is more reliable. read more

Such a great guy! Super chill and easy to talk to. He did a full office paint job and also installed a mailbox. Douglas Service has performed several jobs for us in the last few months. The first job involved my wife's glass shower door. I could not figure out what was wrong. Another handyman was equally perplexed. Douglas Service took the sliding door off the rails and showed me where the wheels had become worn. Problem quickly solved. The next job involved grab bars in my wife's shower. She has wanted grab bars for some time. [Translation: several years]. It was one of those 'Round2it' projects. Well, I finally called Douglas Service, and he efficiently installed two (2) grab bars. The most recent job involved our redwood deck. I had a nice college kid pressure wash the deck. The grim was gone, and the color came back. The wood was rather distressed. I called Douglas Services to the rescue. He powered washed with a cleaning agent. Then, he meticulously sanded the wood. He is a very careful worker . . . a perfectionist. Finally, he applied two (2) coats of clear stain. It looks beautiful. Douglas Service is fast, efficient, and honest. We had siding and 21 windows installed on our two-story home about 3 years ago Badly needed the windows siding cleaned.
