When Natalie first came to us for our first session you tell yourself that there cant be much more you can learn because as a parent you have your own style, ways, and version of things. Natalie did not provide negative feed back on parenting skills but had equiped us with additional and upgraded tools. After completing this course it is bitter sweet to see her go. Natalie could not have chose a better career path for her strong, outgoing, consistant ability to work with people and her inviting personality! Thank you so much for your time and attention.

Suzi has been an absolute blessing to our family over the past four months. As two busy working…read moreparents, getting consistent, quality sleep was incredibly important to us, and having Suzi in our home gave us complete peace of mind. She has been reliable in every sense of the word--always on time, dependable, and incredibly professional. Beyond caring for our daughter overnight, Suzi has been a wealth of knowledge. Her calm, confident presence made those early months so much less stressful, and she was always happy to answer questions and share her experience. One of the greatest gifts Suzi gave our family was helping to establish healthy sleep habits for our daughter. She played a huge role in sleep conditioning her from the very beginning, and thanks to her consistency and expertise, our baby became a wonderful sleeper. That foundation has made such a difference for our entire family. What really sets Suzi apart is how much she genuinely cares about the families she works with. She initially worked with us five nights a week while another nanny covered the weekends. When our weekend nanny became sick, Suzi personally arranged for coverage so we were never left without overnight care. That level of dedication and commitment is rare and meant so much to us. We are incredibly grateful for everything Suzi has done for our family. She gave us the gift of rest during one of the busiest seasons of our lives, and we always knew our daughter was in loving, capable hands. If you're looking for an experienced, dependable, knowledgeable, and compassionate night nanny, we cannot recommend Suzi highly enough.

She was already booked at the time (I needed an immediate replacement), but she spent that evening calling colleagues in her network that may be available to assist me. She spent a few hours doing this, reaching out to different people and coordinating a replacement for me. She did this all at no benefit to herself. That spoke volumes to me. When I was in need she stepped in to help me and made herself available to me with any questions or advice I needed. She is such a professional and a true expert in her field. I will 100% be reaching out to her as we grow our family for overnight support. And I would recommend her to anyone looking for a newborn care specialist who truly cares about her families and their babies. Suzi is a gem!

My children have been taking multiple music lessons at CCSM for several years. Previously, we had…read moretaken lessons at a variety of different schools across different states and countries. Our experience with CCSM has been the best in all respects. If you are looking for reasonable fees, CCSM checks this box. It is a non-profit that was established in the 70s in response to cuts to music education budget in our local public schools. Their main mission is to make music education accessible to as many people in the community as possible. Hence, their fees are very reasonable and much lower than music schools of similar caliber in the area. Since we're talking caliber, I have to say the school has an excellent faculty from a variety of musical fields. Many teachers have graduated from top music programs, performed with top orchestras, and/or produced generations of excellent musicians who are either professional musicians or just regular folk who really love music and continue to support the arts. My boys love their teachers, and they have different teachers even though they learn the same instruments. Since the chemistry between each student/teacher pair is important, you can trial with different teachers and figure out which teacher fits your child best. As for facilities/infrastructure, you won't find state of the art, fancy facilities (see point about it being a non-profit), but they are very good facilities and instruments, many of the pianos have been generously donated by families or the community. There are two formal recital halls, with a Steinway grand (paid for by donations), that allow students to have the opportunity to perform on an almost monthly basis. This helps them build confidence, develop performance skills and share their musical growth with their friends and family. CCSM actively contributes to the community through a scholarship fund that pays for students in financial difficulty to have lessons. There are a few big fundraisers for the scholarship fund held each year and all students are invited (never any pressure) to help raise funds for this, either through actual donations or performing at fundraising events. This helps the kids look beyond their own needs to the needs of others. Finally, since it is a community-based organization, there's a warm familial atmosphere at the school. There's no snooty arrogance you might get at other music schools. Everyone here is really friendly and supportive. This is an amazing school, it's no wonder that students travel all the way from Riverside or Orange Counties to have lessons here! If you're thinking about music lessons, you have to consider CCSM. It was the best decision our family made.

This school is GREAT. More like a conservatory than a regular music school…read more The teachers are all professionals, a large number are also professional players in addition to being professional teachers. I'm not sure how many studio rooms they have...I think about 25 or so, and they all have pianos. They have two performance halls, and have student recitals every month (usually several recitals - hour long recitals- every month). They have pros teaching every instrument. The office staff is great If I could give them 10 stars I would!!!
