When Natalie first came to us for our first session you tell yourself that there cant be much more you can learn because as a parent you have your own style, ways, and version of things. Natalie could not have chose a better career path for her strong, outgoing, consistant ability to work with people and her inviting personality! Thank you so much for your time and attention.

She was already booked at the time (I needed an immediate replacement), but she spent that evening calling colleagues in her network that may be available to assist me. She spent a few hours doing this, reaching out to different people and coordinating a replacement for me. She did this all at no benefit to herself. That spoke volumes to me. When I was in need she stepped in to help me and made herself available to me with any questions or advice I needed. She is such a professional and a true expert in her field. I will 100% be reaching out to her as we grow our family for overnight support. And I would recommend her to anyone looking for a newborn care specialist who truly cares about her families and their babies. Suzi is a gem!

She took her time with us, carefully explaining everything and making sure we felt comfortable and confident moving forward. We never felt rushed, and she answered all of our questions thoughtfully. The best part was seeing immediate results. The very same day we implemented her advice, our newborn gave us a long stretch of sleep, which was such an incredible relief and reassurance that we were on the right track. Her guidance was clear, practical, and easy to implement. We left our session feeling supported and empowered. I highly recommend Suzie to any family looking for compassionate and knowledgeable sleep support.

New mom school became my routine for baby and I. I had seen their flyers in my OBGYN office when I…read morewas pregnant but didn't think much of it. After I had my baby I noticed I had people in my circle that weren't going through the same things as me. Although they had kids, we weren't going through the same thing at the same time. This is when I decided to look for activities I could do with my baby. I was skeptical because as an introvert I was scared to go out with my newborn (he was 3 months at the time) But I'm glad I crossed paths with New mom school again. I signed up and went from Newborn class all the way to their last class of Rising toddler. Through the classes I met many wonderful mamas that were all going through the same things, we could relate in the milestones our babies were having. New mom school had many professionals come in and educate us on things like pelvic exercises, on how to have a safe car seat installed, and even things like how to establish a sleeping schedule for baby. Even though for some this information may sound like it was a no brainer. When you're sleep deprived and learning as you go, as a first time mom I appreciated every advice. I found a village that not only listened to me but they also gave me advice. I loved coming to this place once a week and see my baby grow, and I am sad to reach the end of it. But hope other moms see this and know THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO SIGN UP. You got this!

I signed up for the Newborn Class and it gave me the chance to connect with other moms who have babies around the same age, which made such a difference in feeling less alone during those early months. It also really helped me get out of the house during those tough newborn trenches and feel more comfortable and confident driving around with my baby. It truly feels like a judgment-free zone where everyone is going through the same stage and genuinely understands what you're experiencing. The staff is amazing, and you can really tell they care. Vanessa, the instructor for the newborn class, and Megan, the Program Manager, were especially wonderful--so kind, patient, and incredibly supportive. They both created a comfortable space where no question felt silly, and their encouragement and support helped build my confidence as a new mom. By the end of the class, my baby and Vanessa were basically best friends--she helped me so many times when my baby was fussy and would even keep an eye on her if I needed a quick restroom break, which meant so much to me. I'm so grateful I found New Mom School and definitely recommend the classes to any new moms looking for guidance and a sense of community!

My children have been taking multiple music lessons at CCSM for several years. Previously, we had…read moretaken lessons at a variety of different schools across different states and countries. Our experience with CCSM has been the best in all respects. If you are looking for reasonable fees, CCSM checks this box. It is a non-profit that was established in the 70s in response to cuts to music education budget in our local public schools. Their main mission is to make music education accessible to as many people in the community as possible. Hence, their fees are very reasonable and much lower than music schools of similar caliber in the area. Since we're talking caliber, I have to say the school has an excellent faculty from a variety of musical fields. Many teachers have graduated from top music programs, performed with top orchestras, and/or produced generations of excellent musicians who are either professional musicians or just regular folk who really love music and continue to support the arts. My boys love their teachers, and they have different teachers even though they learn the same instruments. Since the chemistry between each student/teacher pair is important, you can trial with different teachers and figure out which teacher fits your child best. As for facilities/infrastructure, you won't find state of the art, fancy facilities (see point about it being a non-profit), but they are very good facilities and instruments, many of the pianos have been generously donated by families or the community. There are two formal recital halls, with a Steinway grand (paid for by donations), that allow students to have the opportunity to perform on an almost monthly basis. This helps them build confidence, develop performance skills and share their musical growth with their friends and family. CCSM actively contributes to the community through a scholarship fund that pays for students in financial difficulty to have lessons. There are a few big fundraisers for the scholarship fund held each year and all students are invited (never any pressure) to help raise funds for this, either through actual donations or performing at fundraising events. This helps the kids look beyond their own needs to the needs of others. Finally, since it is a community-based organization, there's a warm familial atmosphere at the school. There's no snooty arrogance you might get at other music schools. Everyone here is really friendly and supportive. This is an amazing school, it's no wonder that students travel all the way from Riverside or Orange Counties to have lessons here! If you're thinking about music lessons, you have to consider CCSM. It was the best decision our family made.

I'm not sure how many studio rooms they have...I think about 25 or so, and they all have pianos. The office staff is great If I could give them 10 stars I would!!!
