Although we decided not to book overnight care at the time, as soon as he was born we hired her for a 3 hour sleep consultation. Best money ever spent! She stayed with us through a feeding and two naps to show us how to swaddle, calm, and put him down to get the best sleep he can. We've worked with Suzie twice for sleep training coaching, and she's been absolutely incredible both times. The first time, she walked us through the sleep training process over the phone when our daughter was about 6 months old. After just one night, our daughter slept 12 hours straight in her crib. She continued sleeping 12 hours a night for a couple of months, until we hit a sleep regression. We reached back out to Suzie, and once again she guided us through a different method tailored to the situation. After one night, our daughter was back to sleeping 12 hours again. As new parents to our first child, we were struggling with sleep deprivation caring for our little one. Our 8 week old newborn was waking up/crying sporadically every 1-2 hours 24/7, which was frustrating and took a toll on our physical and mental health. Constantly reading Reddit daily, online forums, and parent chats, it got to the point where we felt we hit a wall. During one of the tired nights, I researched online to SOS someone who can provide us help as soon as possible. Potty training my daughter gave me PTSD. When it was time to potty train my son, I was really stressed out. He was turning two, and I was told was going to be the only non-potty trained child in his class. I needed professional help if I was going to get through this.
