It was an early afternoon time around 1:30pm. Before I was going to my job assignment, I needed a quick coffee break. As I was coming out of the business right across from the street, this coffee shop didn't escape my notice. I wasted no time to rush to it to check it out. This shop is conjoined with a little country shop. Once you are inside the building, the coffee shop is to the right. A young lady welcomed me with a smile. I was the only person at the time of the visit so I was immediately helped. The drink menu is a good size. They also have a decent selection for breakfast and lunch items. My iced latte (16oz) was not even $5 after tax. I truly appreciate the small town prices. This place does look like something the town of Elizabeth had long been waiting for: another boost to make this quiet and quaint town could utilize to bring some curious visitors to come check out and see how cute Elizabeth is. When I pick up another shift in this part of town, now I know where to go to get a refreshing iced latte (by the way, my latte tasted really good!)

The decor and atmosphere is really cute and rustic. There's a bunch of seating. The cashier/barista was very friendly and the service was fast. My mocha was really good. Not overly sweet with just the right amount of chocolate and great coffee flavor. The strawberry pastry I tried was super buttery and flaking and had just the right amount of fruit filling. I will absolutely be back since I now live in the area. A must stop by for anyone looking for a good coffee and a great place to read/study/work. They also have a food menu including sandwiches and other breakfast/brunch foods as well that I am looking forward to trying.

Dazbog and Dis Burritos are both Colorado local companies. Cowgirlz Coffee has lots of options on their menu. So even if you are not a coffee drinker, they've got teas, smoothies, and plenty of food options. The lady who made my coffee was pretty quick! Drive thru only, so be prepared for grab and go. They also have a loyalty punch card that after filled out earns you a free coffee!

This is why Yelping whenever I can has been a huge part of my life and I am proud to say so (LOL!!) The time was almost 12:30pm. When I stepped into the store, I was greeted by a lady and her young son. "Sorry we are closed; we close at noon." Is what the young mom to me. At that point, I almost collapsed to the ground. It (the donut shop) was my last resort because the coffee shop down the same street closed their business permanently for good which I had learned just 5 minutes before I went to this donut shop hoping to grab a high noon coffee. "I didn't need any donut; I just needed coffee" was exactly what I said to her and this kind lady said she could sell prebatched cold brew in individual jars if that would be OK with me. OMG! What a kind gesture is what I thought so without hesitation, I said my loud yes to her. She said she had unsweetened one and lightly sweetened one. After giving it a thought, I went with the unsweetened one as she said she had sweet cream and non-sweet cream in her mini fridge. Those individual jars of cold brew are $5.69. Not bad! The store inside is quaint. Although no food (donut wise) was available for purchase as I was there after the end of their normal business hours, I could only imagine how much this cute little shop would look with its adorable-ness when they had their full shebang of food items. I could see myself sitting in one of the tables/chairs enjoying a nice hot coffee and some delicious donut bites right by the window. I will have to make a point to visit it during their peak hours of their operation to fully enjoy their service. My big thanks go to the nice lady and her son for being so generous by allowing me to purchase the cold brew 30 minutes after their closing time. They truly saved me from being collapsing to the floor.
