Stopped in for lunch over the weekend and before we ordered I asked about the hot sauces they had at the register, the girl that I asked turned and asked the owner. He came over and was telling us how he makes the sauces himself. He also went into some detail about smoking peppers etc. I was intrigued. I think I had tried one before on a skillet. He said he would bring them to our table to try. He did bring them over as he promised so I tried them one at a time with my fries. All 3 were really good. I broke a sweat, so they past that test. I ended up buying the 3 pack, much better price than the individual prices per bottle. This morning I made myself a ham, egg and refried bean breakfast burrito to try them on. Oh man, so good. I visited this cafe for breakfast on a weekday. Food was mediocre. I can't say it was anything special. The customer service could use improvement. Please don't carry on a conversation with a fellow staff member when you have a customer standing in front of you. It's just not professional and lacks customer service. So this morning my husband and I went to Miyo for breakfast and it was t crowded at all. We waited 20 minutes and our order was WRONG I ordered the egg n cheese and chicken burrito that comes with hash browns. I told the owner to put the green chilies on the side cuz my husband likes them and I cannot eat them. I took it back to the owner and it comes back with no green chillies but no chicken that I originally ordered it came back with bacon. I'm like what the heck is wrong with these people. Oh and my husband ordered a pancake and it came with no butter. I told my husband take my picture I'm NEVER coming back here. We use to go here all the time but since the owners sister who originally owned it left as she retired. The new owner who is her brother is the worst. It's too bad cuz it's a local restaurant in Castle Pines and I like to support establishments in my area but they are the worst place ever. read more

Saturday morning 9:30; I was running way early to an appointment. so decided to stop in at the Miyo cafe to give their smothered Bacon Breakfast burrito a shot. I placed my order and took a seat while it was prepared they brought it out to me a few minutes later and I brought it out to my car where I began the consumption process. Overall, it was a great burrito... I ordered the medium chili for it to be smothered in And that had the right amount of heat to keep this Gringo happy. Overall, a little pricey but One has to consider the neighborhood, rent etc. I will return. read more

Cute Cafe in the castle pines area. I just got a coffee and breakfast taco. The bacon breakfast taco was so delicious and I would order it again. The place is adorable and dog seating outside is available. The service was friendly and helpful. We've been coming here for years. I'm so glad it's still around. It's more of a diner atmosphere, very busy on the weekends. But you actually get value for what you spend. Nice place for breakfast. Street parking - some spaces are timed and some are not. Two entrances and sections to this restaurant. We sat on the side with the counter. Clean and bright inside. The sun does hit you so choose wisely. Ordered at the counter and they brought the food to me. Huevos rancheros. Funny thing is they forgot the eggs but they did bring it later. It was ok. My friend said his French toast was decadent. So maybe I'll try that another time. Nice neighborhood spot. read more

Miyo cafe is a favorite breakfast spot of ours. We usually visit on our way down to Colorado Springs when we have to travel down that way. My go-to is the oatmeal with all of the toppings. It's healthy and filling. My son loves the "face pancake" with chocolate chips. The service is usually fast and friendly here. Note, it gets busy quickly on a Saturday morning, so get here early! read more

The staff at Miyo Cafe is incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, available, and attentive but not in a hovering way. They know their locals and it's clear the previous owners (who are still on-site during ownership transition) know their customers. They've got history in the town and relational investment. They're introducing new owners to long time customers to keep that local feel. The food is delicious and customizable - though trust their menu. It was large, hearty, and delicious. My wife had the regular quesadilla without adding in the extra vegetables. My daughter got her regular skillet with a few substitutions. Traveling through Colorado and searched for breakfast restaurants with good ratings. Being from a different state...I enjoy trying new, non-franchise places. I came across Miyo Cafe and pulled up the menu and immediately decided this is where we will have breakfast. The location is in this beautiful little "town centre" type setup with views of the mountains. We walk in and was immediately greeted. It definitely gave off "cafe" vibes and had pictures of beautiful scenery on the walls. There was a lot to choose from but was not disappointed with the food at all. This is the type of place that you see the elderly people (no offense) are regulars at. If I lived locally, I would 100% eat here regularly. The employees were very friendly and interactive. Miyo is located on a charmed intersection that features two other nice restaurants, Danielle's and Trestles. Considering the generally poor quality of restaurants in Castle Rock, it's like an oasis of tastiness. Miyo serves a variety of comfort food at reasonable prices - sandwiches, salads, burritos, quesadillas, and their own "skillet"s. I eat there regularly and have yet to have a bad meal. I particularly like the Miyo Skillet, with eggs as you want them, your choice of toast, and the ability to customize the dish by adding optional ingredients. I also enjoy their quesadilla. Service is friendly and fast. Beware of brunch periods, as you may find yourself standing in a fairly long line -- which is itself a testament to the combination of food quality, price, and great service. For a tasty meal priced right, you can't do better than Miyo. read more

If you're looking to support a small business, MiYO is a wonderful option. We wanted a café with lots of breakfast options, and this place has them. The portions are generous and affordably priced. GF options are available, too. I appreciated the multiple indoor seating areas, as well as an outdoor patio. Everyone who works here had a smile on their face- very friendly staff who check in with you, even when they're really busy!
