My current dentist recommended 2 crowns priced at $1,000. I doubted his capability so I saw Dr. Pettey today just for a consultation. He said he could do some fillings and that would take care of the loss of enamel issue right then. I was pleasantly surprised he could fit me in when I was just scheduled for a consult. I was in there maybe an hour from start to finish and my 2 front teeth look brand new. My cost less insurance was $116 instead of what I could have paid ($1,000). You can't even see where the enamel loss was. As a result, I am switching to Dr. Pettey as my new dentist for me and my husband. Owning his own practice totally makes a difference in the care you are given. He and Johnna did an amazing job and I am so pleased with the outcome! Highly, highly recommend. I was the only person in the lobby; however, I waited 30 minutes before being called to the back. When the hygienist came to the door, they looked at me, I looked at them, and they continued looking at me. When they saw I wasnt going to just get up because I was the only one in the lobby, they began fumbling through the folder in their hand to find my name. During my dental procedure, the hygienist recorded it using AI glasses. I found this very unprofessional, especially because I did not give permission to be recorded. A few days later, I called the office to reschedule my next visit. I spoke with someone named Shaundria, who, without checking the schedule or even asking when I wanted to reschedule, told me, "NO, YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR APPOINTMENT BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING FOR THE REST OF THIS MONTH OR NEXT MONTH." She was very rude, snappy, and unprofessional. At that point, I canceled my appointment and immediately found another dentist. Dr. Henry had also told me that I had several cavities that needed to be filled. However, my new dentist evaluated my teeth and did not agree with that assessment.
