I always find something that I adore here! A great variety of old and new, clothes and accents. The staff are lovely!

After visiting the amazing Phipps conservatory I stopped at the gift shop to buy water and just…read morebrowse and determined this is one of the prettiest gift shops I've ever been in and I could've bought several things. What stood out to me was the quality of the merchandise. Often you go into a gift store and it's just trinkets and the quality doesn't scream, but in here everything is beautiful. You can purchase ceramics, planters, orchids, soaps, jewelry, pins, books, you name it there's something in here for everyone. Also, many items are unique and fun, like whimsical flamingo planters. I would go back to this gift store to make a few purchases it's that wonderful.

Merchandise includes plants, soils, glass flowers, home decor, children's toys, puzzles, jewelry, books, stationery, hand soaps, foods such as coffees and honeys, and more. Prices are moderate. I have shopped here multiple times over the years. I usually purchase only a little, but the merchandise looks to be a good quality. I have not experienced any problems with the employees. I recommend this gift shop if you want to purchase a little something for a friendly, family member, or yourself. They have some unique items that I cannot easily find elsewhere.

They have done such a phenomenal job rehabbing that building. It sat there for so long and…read moredisrepair and I hoped they would do something. Now they have and it's a fun place to go shop, eat and drink. My favorite places in there are Novo Food Hall, Askin Brewery, Heibers, City Winery and Shake Shack. You can get something quick to eat if you lack time before an event at Shake Shack. They have great burgers. Novo is a great place to go and try out all different things from all different Asian foods from Japan, Korea and the Philippines. We've tried several different places and had lots of great dishes. If you need a drink and some good food to wash it down then Aslin is the place to go. They even have trivia nights which are lots of fun. I love going to concerts and City Winery is a fun spot to see a show because it's a small venue which has no bad seats. We have seen. Comedians and concerts there. If you pay in cash at the venue, you can avoid the fees. You can go there for a fun afternoon or a great evening with friends and family.

It is really fascinating how much this place has transformed from even just ten years ago. When I…read morefirst moved to Pittsburgh, there was basically not much there and now it is packed from end to end with a huge variety of businesses. There is a huge parking lot (paid) behind the entire building and there are metered spaces in the front. They often host events like outdoor fitness classes, farmers markets and car shows. It really is amazing that you could mini golf, get a facial, drink wine or beer, eat delicious food, shop for books or grab a coffee all within a small area. There are several cut through areas which make it more manageable to get to your desired location from the parking lot. The biggest downside to me is that I wish there were more local businesses. While there is nothing wrong with chains, the Strip is such an important part of Pittsburgh's history that I wish it contained more independent businesses and restaurants and less chains.
