I think a monthly payment plan would be great especially after just paying almost $10,000 out of pocket for extensive surgery. Liz at the front desk was so nice, she immediately put me at ease. That set the tone. Robin, my hygienist, was thorough and efficient, and also very pleasant. Dr. Jacobson, while performing the exam, was gentle, and explained each step to me. He spent a good deal of time with me; I never felt like he was rushing through the exam. I am so glad I found Dr. Jacobson and his great staff. They made me feel like I was really in good hands, which is exactly what one wants from a dental experience.

And the dentist was straight rude when I asked a simple question about flossing and he acted irritated and condescending. They didn't have the technology to properly X-ray my small-child's mouth, so they missed some tiny cavities that we then had to drive to a actual "pediatric dentist" to care for... The last straw was when I accidentally showed up at an appointment 10 minutes late (mistook my 1:10 time for 1:20 kind of thing) -- After YEARS of being on time, they didn't even try to fit me in. Rescheduling would've been weeks and I'd driven half and hour (after they relocated they were so much further away). I decided just to take my kid to the Virginia dentist, and don't even mind the extra drive to see them. Furthermore, Woodson's waiting room is very cramped for overflowing appointments they cram in there so tightly. Maybe extend your office hours for after school, so you can spread things out and become more personal. Oh! And you edged out all the medicaid clients now too, I hear.... This community truly needs you to have more local competition - more options for PERSONable dental care!
