They saw me at 8am the very next morning Dr Parham and her staff were so very nice ! They were able to fix my teeth temporarily until the permanent solution ! They looked better than ever ! On another visit to Kitty Hawk I broke some teeth (surfing is not my thing lol) she and her staff came up with a solution . She fashioned a bridge until my mouth healed then fixed it with a permanent bridge ! They are by far the friendliest, nicest folks you would ever want to meet! If I was a little closer they would be my dentist but I make several trips a year and Dr Parham and her staff take care of me ! However, I began to see a red flag when I recently asked a question about proposed treatment for my husband. I requested his x-rays to view to understand what Dr. Bobrow was recommending. Apparently Dr. Bobrow knew he was on shaky ground when I politely asked my question and he emailed me that I need to go elsewhere as he is exceptionally skilled and has practiced for 26 years. In addition I was alarmed to see that a crown he did on my husband earlier this year does not fit well and the proposed treament for my husband was unconventional. I agree he needs to practice because he hasn't gotten it right yet in my professional opinion. I was told that we need to seek our dental treatment elsewhere. Apparently patients are not allowed to question his exalted intellect and skill. As a professional, I will not say here what I really think about him. Wife of patient wrote this.

I was at ease with their procedures and their concern for you anxiety and if I felt any pain. I don't numb well. Never have so I took a few extra doses of novacaine but in doing so, didn't feel any discomfort. This was my second root canal (hopefully the last) but I certainly feel I had the best care, both professionally as well as personally. When I found out that I had to have a root canal, I sat in my car and cried for 10 minutes. Dr. Buttke's office was comfortable and the exam room was spacious. His assistant was very approachable, kind and gentle. I never felt a bad prick with the Novocain shots, or the drilling, or the filing... honestly, I didn't feel ANYTHING. NOTHING! It's just unheard of. The procedure was yesterday afternoon, and I woke up with ZERO PAIN. I cannot say enough about how please (an relieved) I am. Don't be afraid if you have to go. Trust me on this!
