It was a rainy, windy day, but the crew completely minimized the elements by dressing us in heavy-duty gear from head to toe. We looked like we were going snowboarding! The included beanies, gloves, binoculars, and goggles kept us completely warm and comfortable. Take the goggles--you will thank them later! Wildlife-wise, we struck gold. We saw four different types of whales, highlighted by a Gray whale feeding and Orcas chasing a Minke whale. Our naturalist was incredibly knowledgeable and could even identify individual whales by their tag numbers. As a huge bonus, the Zodiac boat was perfect for the members of our group prone to motion sickness. The fresh open air and up-and-down movement instead of rolling kept everyone feeling great the whole time. They even sent us amazing photos after the trip. Truly a professional operation and worth every penny!

We were able to view seals, dolphins, a pod of orcas, bald eagles and a pair of grey whales. A truly unique experience, we highly recommend!

I visited during a recent Art Walk when they even had a great band playing, and some tasty nibbles too. The art when I was there included oil paintings and charcoal. Attention to every detail from warm coffee mugs to fill our fresh coffee at 7am to gourmet lunches and dinners, and of course desserts. We had a wonderful time. Jon and Jette are the most gracious hosts, who now we consider friends. Jon keeping us safe and informed of the wildlife and sealife, but also taking us on hikes on islands only accessible by boat. Jette with her great sense of humor surprising us at every turn with a new talent from gourmet cooking, writing songs, playing her guitar and sharing her doodles are a few of the many talents she revealed to us. And then there is Geni, sweet Geni, their portugese water "boat" dog. We instantly fell in love and could not get enough of her. I don't now the last time I felt so relaxed and pampered. Left us on the side of the road for 3 hours today and continually lied to us about what was going…read moreon. We're sending another bus. Then, we're sending mechanics. It was 2 guys from their office with a jack that was too small so they couldn't get the tire off to change it. We were all calling the office and being told different lies. The manager went home just as we were pulling in at Burlington. They could have sent another bus or gotten a commercial tow truck with the right tools but they did none of those things. Very unethical group of people. Do not book. It doesn't feel good when the management just does not care, the employees lie and evade. I'll get a response from Lori, seen here as the owner and she'll tell me to contact management directly. We attempted that while broken down on the bus. They refused to come to the phones. "All in a meeting." .changed from 1 to 3 stars. I called this morning and just got an email offering a refund.
