They try to get me for my money. Unfortunately, I came to this place after looking for barbers that were still open in the Fairfield Vacaville area. I looked at this place and I saw that it had decent reviews despite it only having a few I took a chance. It is located on a decent block on Texas Street. The location is ideal it was comfortable for me however that comfort ended, when I pulled on the door only to see that there was only one barber in there with one client. He graciously let me in and that's why he's getting a two star but what I saw from there honestly scared me and I didn't want to sit in his chair. So if you know anything about cutting hair. If a barber needs to utilize any kind of enhancements to include Beijing or Hairspray to improve their mistakes you probably shouldn't sit down with them. You always hope it's not you. And for whatever reason due to my proximity of no additional Barbara's I still decided to wait however, I noticed that he was making errors while cutting the hair and it took him an additional 20 minutes after you finish spraying the Beijing to finish the actual haircut. I prior to walking in this place I told my brother via phone conversation that you really should be aware of who is cutting your hair and never to cheat on your barber. This was case and point . I sat in this chair and I asked them how much the price was to which again I don't get sticker shock over haircuts but location is everything and if you show me that you're utilizing Beijing to enhance hair I'm not going to pay you a gross amount of money for a simple fade. My advice is for everyone to do they do diligence prior to sitting in a chair I wish I could've given this place is shot however what they're asking definitely they're not worth it. read more

I don't leave reviews often but wanted to give Phil a shoutout. We live in Martinez and were on our way up to Reno scrambling for a last minute haircut. After calling a dozen shops and being turned away I was lucky enough to find Phil. Double zero fade high and tight w/ a couple lines while leaving the top to grow. Man, he did an amazing job. I've been to plenty of shops/salons that can't seem to get it right. And my son has an easy shaped head to cut which I don't get. I called them to see if they could squeeze I'm my little cousin ( 8 yrs old) for a cut, I think it was Jose who work with me to get him in the same day. The cut was shorter than normal but my little cousin liked his cut and so did his mom. Thank you Jose for getting us in and taking care of us. Everybody that works in this shop are the best around. I usually go to Jose because he knows exactly which style I want and he knows how to do it I've been coming to this dope ass shop for a while the service from all the employees are awesome and when I'm getting my hair cut there's usually some good laughs spreading around haha. Real good people who know what they are doing this is a shop with some soul in it because it's always so live in there it's not boring like other shops I've encountered. You'll have a good time sitting there listening to the conversations that float around haha. But I got mad love and respect for these guys so if your looking for a shop with an awesome atmosphere then definitely stop by this one you guys won't regret it this shop is like another home to me that's how much good of a place this is. This barbershop is phenomenal. It has recently had a change in management and not only does it look great, the atmosphere is very inviting. Always an entertaining day with these guys. First time we went was today, we were referred by a friend of ours. My boys were seen by Alex. He was incredibly nice to my boys. They're 6 and 8. My 6 year old got a design by Alex and started getting antsy, Alex was patient with him. My oldest had gone fist, and after seeing his brothers design he wanted one as well. Alex had taken him again so he could have one. The shop was clean, professional, and for my boys first experience we will be coming back. read more
