My grandson needed a haircut but his friend & personal barber, in Vacaville was unavailable. I suggested Key Cuts Barber Shop in Suisun, because I had watched a barber give a great haircut there, in the past. I also remembered how nicely the shop looked, red, black detailing and very clean. An Upscale Vibe. It was on a Sunday afternoon, and we were hoping to find the shop open. We walked in and waited. There was only one barber working, and the only customer there was in the chair. When it was my grandson's turn, he sat in the chair and explained what he wanted, tapered on sides and back. He asked her, (that's right, it was a woman barber)if she did razor trims around the edges. She said: "Yes, I do!" She really took her time cutting his hair, and checking with him as she went along. So we went in to check it out my son is very particular about his haircuts. The place was about to close and we spoke to Jeremy, my son goes to a school Public Safety Acadamy and can't have his hair past his eyebrows and needed it cut Jeremy said he couldn't do it that night but if we bring him in at 7:30 the next day he could do it . So we brought him in and he was there waiting and it took him no more that 30 min and still got my son to school on time he cut his hair and he did an awesome job. This place is a gem and his hair cut was $25 compared to what we usually pay you have to bring your kids and check it out they also do adult cuts and other things. Took my son in for his first haircut and it didn't happen. Called around 10:30 this morning and the chick that answered and I guess the only one working on Sunday said " no problem I'm great with kids cuts and I have an available slot for 2:30 pm" perfect works for me. Got there 10 mins early and she's finishing up the kid in the chair. As soon as she's done, she tells her friend to hop in the chair. We made an appointment for a reason. Jeremy Condez at Key Cuts Barber Shop is the man! Our son was getting pretty furry over the summer, and I usually cut his hair, but wifey insisted on a "Professional" before our trip to Hawaii. Well, hate to say it, but she was right lol... We were referred to Jeremy through a family friend, and he did a phenomenal job of fading and properly lining up my son. He makes it look easy, but there is an art to a great haircut. On top of that, Jeremy is the nicest guy to be around. The barber shop itself appeared modern and immaculately clean unlike some of the other barber shops in the area. Super disappointed! Called and made an appointment for 2:30 for my son to get his haircut. We got there a few minutes earyl, barber had client in the chair which was fine- she let us know that she had one person ahead of us (which i assumed was the client in her chair). She finished her client and then took care of the another client instead of my son. Don't understand the point of making an appointment if it's not honored. read more

My son got his first haircut with Jeremy Condez yesterday. My son is usually really particular he doesn't like the hair to fall on his neck, he hates the clippers so we warned Jeremy but he insisted he would be ok. My son usually runs away or can't sit still, but Jeremy made him feel secure and comfortable. I'm new to the area and we usually travel back to Richmond to get my son a haircut but he had a last minute event and needed a cut quick. I found Key Cuts on Google and decided to call. Carter answered and accommodated us with a squeeze in appointment.. on a Friday! We went in not sure what to expect but we're met by a warm and friendly barber (Carter) who provided my son with a great cut. My 17 year old (who is super picky about his haircuts) was very happy with the end result and has agreed to allow Carter to pick up as his regular barber. Unfortunately, I do not have photos as it was a last minute cut and my son took off shortly after for the weekend but we will be going back and I'll add pictures next time Aside from the cut, the shop was clean and appeared to be a pretty family friendly environment. No loud music, no inappropriate talks or discussions taking place and the two barbers that were present were both pleasant and politely greeted me and my son when we arrived. I was impressed by that. I've been in shops before where I've had to get up, leave and remove myself from the room because the conversations and language so dirty. I understand the barbershop is a male dominated space so I usually just remove myself, but it was really nice to be able to stay. I even made small talk and shared a few laughs with some of the other customers. My first impression of this shop is that it is not only family friendly but a processional establishment with highly skilled and talented barbers. I don't remember now why I went in originally but I talked to Jeremy and got the low down on the business and found out they had a massage therapist there as well. I made an appointment with Robert the therapist and we connected. All I can say is, I am 64 years old and have had MANY massages over the years, but none like what I received from Robert.
