Came in as walk-ins for my two boys. Told them to feel free to do whatever they thought would look good, and they did great. Yousef took care of my youngest wild-child son's hair, who tends to like the longer look. Jonathan took care of my oldest son's hair and gave him a nice clean faded look. They were super nice, and patient, good music, and even just changed the tv to the SpongeBob movie for my boys when we walked in. I should add, their hair was attempted by my friend, who tried his hardest lol (with no hair cutting experience) like a month ago, and oldest's was pretty butchered esp on the top/front, so they had a bit of work cut out for them I'm sure haha but this shop fixed them up great! read more

This was a beautiful experience . It's hard to tell what you're going to get nowadays. My grandson got his haircut. He's 4. When I walked in they were so welcoming. They even turned the music off and turned on Disney I was so moved by this gesture. There whole objective aside from the haircut was to give us an experience. They did !! Called yesterday and made an appointment for today with Andre. Nobody showed up. The shop was locked up even though is was an hour after they supposedly open. Waited for 15 minutes cause sometimes things happen, but nobody ever showed up. Made numerous calls to their number, but it just rang and rang and then would eventually hang up. Oh well, I guess it's off to sports clips and we learned our lesson. . I wanted to give this place a try but I definitely called before going in. I'm not quite sure where they think they are however I know barbers in Southern California to include Los Angeles San Diego etc. that aren't charging as much as these barbers are out here. I look at a lot of the photos and see that the Clipper game isn't what it should be and they are charging a premium for a mediocre cut. The reason why I'm giving this place to stars isn't because of the price it's because they advertise that they're open at a certain time and when you call and asked how much a cut was they mention that it was after hours And they were charging an additional premium for that. I'm all about people getting their money but make sure that the stuff is listed on your searchable pages as to not waste anybody's time. read more

I called Wonder World Barber Shop Saturday morning to ask if they were taking any walk-ins that day and the gentleman on the phone said yes, we all have openings. When arriving at the barbershop with my three kids, I asked again if they were taking walk-ins and they all said oh, no we're booked! So I asked if I could make an appointment to come in later that day, and a gentleman by the name of Tran replies and said I'll take you. Once returning to the barbershop around 12:50, for our 1:00 time slot, there was still a man in the chair which was fine, but the gentleman kept stoping and looking at his phone, which essentially delayed the other client. At 1:50pm he was finally done.. My 10 yr old son got in his chair and I asked very specifically for a high top tapered fade, he said okay, No Problem! It was about 15mins into the haircut that I knew, he knew nothing of what I was talking about. He not only Messed up his hair line, he left hair on his neck, AND THEN, he took it up upon himself to shave my sons eyebrows after I stepped out to go to the restroom!!! I grabbed my son, and left, the two barbers in the front who obviously know what they're doing offered to fix his hair but at that point I was done! If you're going to Tran and your not his ethnicity, tread with caution, because he obviously can only cut his type of hair. read more

The guys here were polite and inviting. Hair everywhere.. Waited 20 minutes (quoted 10) to get my 3 year old cut. The guy kept using his phone before cutting my son so I grabbed him out the chair and left. I had a time constraint and it seemed that the messaging he was doing was important. I couldnt be late due to him being on the phone. Plus the guy he cut before me had a horrible fade.. In fact, it wasnt blended at all. I don't usually ever go get haircuts because a lot of things about them freak me out. I have some scars up on my head and I worry about barbers commenting on them. Charles (I believe. sorry man I'm known for being bad with names) did my hair and didn't say anything about them. And I'm transgender. I don't like haircuts because when I go most places I get the whole "oh sweetheart honey baby are you sure you want a men's haircut? I'll do a pixie cut instead," and it just sucks. I didn't walk in and say "hey whats up I'm trans," but I was really pleasantly surprised. Nobody made any weird "oh honey this is a men's barber shop sweetie" comments or "Are you sure?"s. A really big relief for me. Charles asked my name and I even felt comfortable saying "well, my nametag says [very feminine legal name] but my name is actually [more masculine name]" and he didn't bat an eye, just called me by my name like a normal person. I don't usually get to experience that. I also liked that I was neither pressured into talking the whole time nor ignored. We had some friendly chatting but I never felt awkward. He talked to the other guy there about their tools and I could tell he takes his seriously. At one point he used a new one on me to do a fade and asked if it felt okay or was too sharp. It felt fine and I appreciated the check-in. It looks a little plain in there right now because they just finished up a bunch of construction-type stuff and painting. It would be cool if they had some stuff on the walls maybe but I'm sure they'll get around to decoration soon. read more
