I love going to Downtown Jeaux coffee cafe. Located in downtown Houma. The service is always friendly. The ambience is welcome it like being around family and friends there. Today I just got a fro jeaux sugar free mocha with almond milk. Hit the right spot. Delicious! So if you are looking for hot. Iced or frozen coffee Jeaux's is the place to go. It doesn't stop there beignets they have them. Whole break menu and lunch menu too. You gotta give them a try. There is a small parking lot put other wise there is street parking on all sides of the street. Tables inside or outside. Or you can take your food to the court yard right across the road some times there is a band playing or other activities there. read more

On a 1/2 year road trip i visited this gem of a place while in LA about 25 min away from here; it could've been double that drive and I'd still gladly have drove for their beignets and smiling faces. The outside tables are perfect for just relaxing and enjoying a great cup of coffee and some foods. It's dog friendly which although I didn't have my dogs visit inside with me, they loved hanging outside at the table getting pets while I relaxed with a latte. Clean bathrooms, great service, delicious food and very reasonable prices- this place is a must if you're anywhere nearby! read more

Coffee is not their thing. When they say "coffee cafe" they're leaving like in the 1950s-small-town-USA where people hung out and coffee at a diner. Think "Happy Days" or "Mayberry " but not Starbucks I got a latte and they have a lot of syrups but it's just Community Coffee. The latte was not all that. But this is way more a diner than a coffee shop. The people are super nice and I'd come here again if I was looking for a traditional breakfast. read more

Rolling through town for a couple of days stay and came here twice. First time we came we were greeted by the very nice cashier and were also fortunate enough to meet a table of guys that were equally warm and friendly. We had a nice time talking to them over an oat milk latte with sugar free cinnamon brown sugar and an espresso. Lots of good drink and food choices; we didn't eat anything so I can't comment. My husband said each of his espressos were ok and ditto for each of my lattes but I was pleased with the oat milk option and the many flavors of sugar free syrup. I'm equally pleased by the number and variety of seating options: small tables, large tables for groups, comfy chairs, and, an outdoor patio. I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 because if you are a coffee aficionado you might be disappointed. However, if you are looking for a very homey atmosphere this place can't be beat. read more

One of my all time favorite places to eat! Food is great and so is the service! I definitely recommend cooling out here for either outdoor or indoor festivities. This is definitely my kind of place. The atmosphere is feels like you walked in to where your friends hangout. Food & coffee was very good and was extremely fast. Would recommend. Biggest drawback is that it's hard to find parking when downtown is having court. I would highly recommend it was with driving around a little to find a parking spot. read more

It's not often that you find great coffee shops in out-of-the-way places, but this little cafe has the homey feel of a cafe with good food, and it has some sophisticated coffee options and the staff to explain them! Our large group of home building volunteers was handled promptly and efficiently, amidst the bustle of plenty of folks enjoying their food and drink in the cafe. Our Americorps leads recommended the cafe as the top spot for good coffee in town, and the cafe team delivered on that promise. read more

Y'all need to just take Ava ado toast off your menu. It was inedible. It was cold white bread barely toasted with a thin layer of avocado spread that looked like baby food. Ordered 2 Ruebens and a 3 pack beinets. When I received the bag it was super light. Got back to my daughters house to eat and the rueben sandwiches. They were the smallest thinest sandwich I've ever bought at a restaurant. At 9.95 each there should have been more then a thin slice of meat, no cheese and possibly no saurcraut as I couldn't find it. Bread was ok but I've never seen small square rye. Total was 25.95 wasted. Will not visit again. read more

We happened across this cute gem in an older building while exploring Houma. My son was crying from a sunburn and we popped in for a drink and to cool off. The nice lady behind the counter offered some burn spray, which immediately helped. So thoughtful and caring! We then ordered "froyeaux" shakes in cookies and cream and pralines and cream. Very yummy. Older son slurped down a strawberry and banana smoothie. If you are poking around Houma or just want a peaceful place to chill, come here. read more

i haven't been to downtown jeaux many times but i really enjoyed this visit. we got two orders of the 3 order of beignets. they were amazing. very flaky but dense and soft in the most perfect way. we also got the ham and cheese croissant for breakfast and it was perfectly melty and cheesy. we each got a large cold brew. it was national coffee day so all coffee was 50% off. they have tons of different flavors that you can add in. unfortunately the patio is being renovated, but there was outdoor seating that worked fine. i'm not sure if social distancing was set in place or if any tables were blocked off. the staff was not wearing masks which i didn't enjoy seeing. i would probably go back more often if they took covid precautions more seriously. overall i enjoyed my experience and it's nice to have a place like this in houma instead of all the chains that are here. read more

I love that downtown has a cute and cool coffee shop! I really like the vibes and workers; however, the coffee itself is lacking. The two times I've been, they've served the drinks in styrofoam cups, which negatively affects the flavor and overall experience. With some improvements, this place could be really great. read more

Went driving to see what was in town. Had passed this place a few times. It is next to M Power Yoga studio in Historic area. Small, quaint, quiet cafe restaurant. Ordered build your own hotdog, fries, and a bottled drink. Also ordered cup of ice cream. Friendly staff. Good cafe food. Has a decent menu. If in town, stop by if looking for coffee or a panini or a hotdog. Sundays close at 3pm. read more
