Great beignets and service. I love stop here for hot fresh beignets when I am in town. I also was able to replace my tshirt with a new one. Always a great stop! Homey and welcoming.

On a 1/2 year road trip i visited this gem of a place while in LA about 25 min away from here; it could've been double that drive and I'd still gladly have drove for their beignets and smiling faces. The outside tables are perfect for just relaxing and enjoying a great cup of coffee and some foods. It's dog friendly which although I didn't have my dogs visit inside with me, they loved hanging outside at the table getting pets while I relaxed with a latte. Clean bathrooms, great service, delicious food and very reasonable prices- this place is a must if you're anywhere nearby!

Rolling through town for a couple of days stay and came here twice. First time we came we were greeted by the very nice cashier and were also fortunate enough to meet a table of guys that were equally warm and friendly. We had a nice time talking to them over an oat milk latte with sugar free cinnamon brown sugar and an espresso. Lots of good drink and food choices; we didn't eat anything so I can't comment. My husband said each of his espressos were ok and ditto for each of my lattes but I was pleased with the oat milk option and the many flavors of sugar free syrup. I'm equally pleased by the number and variety of seating options: small tables, large tables for groups, comfy chairs, and, an outdoor patio. I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 because if you are a coffee aficionado you might be disappointed. However, if you are looking for a very homey atmosphere this place can't be beat.

Coffee is not their thing. When they say "coffee cafe" they're leaving like in the 1950s-small-town-USA where people hung out and coffee at a diner. Think "Happy Days" or "Mayberry " but not Starbucks I got a latte and they have a lot of syrups but it's just Community Coffee. The latte was not all that. But this is way more a diner than a coffee shop. The people are super nice and I'd come here again if I was looking for a traditional breakfast.

SERVICE IS KING - service needs to be high after all the price of a cup is still pretty high this becomes the "value added"

Nice place to get a coffee. They do have alternative options to cow's milk. They have more than coffee and tea.

Strolled in around 7:00 p.m. I was the only person here except for another gentlemen who actually just walked through the door. Neat little place. Pretty clean from what I can see and kind of off decorum, but in a good way! I walked in and was immediately greeted with my server. Super nice, super sweet and super polite southern gal, like they usually are which is why I stay in the south. That Southern hospitality, ya dig? Anyways she had me pick my table, and then immediately brought me a menu and took my drink order. I gazed over the menu, and by the time she brought my beverage I was ready to order. I WAS going to go for the chicken adobo, but I didn't want rice because it will keep me up tonight because I don't eat a lot of complex carbohydrates. I hope the pancit noodles won't either. I ordered the all meat Pancit. $22. Came with a little bit of beef, chicken, and shrimp. Good size shrimp too! Came out PIPING hot, and flavorful. I made eye contact which whom I'm pretty sure is owner of this place. I smiled, and she said sternly, "Oh hi!" Hahaha! Kind of reminded me of a nice 'soup Nazi' from Seinfeld. I know Sriracha is Vietnamese, but I asked for soy sauce and sriracha, but they don't have any sort of oriental hot sauce and I wasn't about to put red dot on it. So soy sauce it was. I kind of threw my server for a loop, when I asked for chopsticks hahaha!!! It wasn't a super huge portion, but it was perfect for me. I could see how nitpickers would complain, but, no complaints here! Thank you for a great meal, and the next time I park here, I'll definitely be coming back in! ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. As a newbie to juicing and healthy food options, this was a wonderful experience to me. One thing you have to keep in mind is that all these products are 100% fresh so you will taste everything. The ocean commotion has cucumbers, apples, pineapples, and mint in it, and I tasted ALL of them. The happy baby was also a great smoothie once mangos were added to it. With just one experience, I prefer them over smoothie king because of the fresher options. The lady, who I assume is the owner, was awesome. She helped me pick my drink options, gave me reasons of why those ingredients were added together, and introduced me to the juicing program flyer (not pictured). I will definitely be back for $5 Fridays.

Though pop-up showers were still lingering, my husband and I decided to take a gamble on courtyard dining--and I am so glad we did! Sheltered under the green umbrellas surrounded by historic brick walls, lush greenery, and rain-kissed citrus trees, the atmosphere was incredibly romantic and peaceful. The courtyard's intimate layout even brought a bit of extra magic to our evening. We sat near another wonderful couple (and their adorable daughter) and became fast friends, sharing laughs and conversation throughout the night. What truly anchored the experience, though, was the incredible service. The staff was remarkably personable, helpful, and welcoming. The dinner itself was excellent from start to finish, showcasing immense culinary skill across every dish. We started with the delicious brussels sprouts and a uniquely seasoned spring/summer gumbo that was unlike any version we've had before (oh, what I would give for the recipe). As for the entrées, the shrimp and grits were phenomenal, and the blackened catfish sandwich with a fresh salad was executed flawlessly...and the bread pudding was fantastic, too! It is rare to find an experience where top-tier hospitality, a breathtaking environment, and great food come together so (seemingly) effortlessly. Café Amélie is an absolute must-visit! The host was extremely welcoming and friendly. Our server and helpers were over quickly to drop off waters and greet us. I ended up ordered the salmon. With it being so early and only one or 2 other tables besides my friend and me, the food did take longer to come out than I expected it to. Both of us did thoroughly enjoy what we got. The salmon was crispy on the outside with a nice sauce over it. We thought we'd have time to get dessert so we ordered a couple but that too took a very long time. We finally waved down our server to cancel and get the check since we had to be somewhere and he apologized and said their WiFi was going in and out so it could be that it was registering on the kitchen side. That may have explained why our entrees took too long. If it wasn't for the service and the food being great - I would not be thrilled about timing. We got there around 5:30p and had to leave by 7:15p so an almost 2 hours experience that probably could have been 1 hour.
