Decent multi level parking garage in the historic district. Its $20 flat fee to park here but only $3 for St Johns residents. The young guy was directing us into the garage with those bright colored cones. Only a few spaces left on the 3rd floor and snagged one. Took the elevator down with a bunch of people. Stairway is available. The parking garage is only a minute walk to St George Street and other amenities. Vehicles left more than seven days will be subject to tow. The City of St Augustine is not responsible for theft of vehicles, property or injuries. Reading this sign made me feel very uncomfortable but comical at the same time. read more

No line into the garage and the employee told us there were still some parking spaces available. We drove up to the 3rd floor and finally found one. We took the elevator but thought first about the stairs but too tiring. The garage is only a few minute walk to the visitor center and St George Street where all the shops and restaurants are at. Easy parking, decent size spaces and a guy was outside controlling entry traffic. Location is right across from the Visitor Center and a block from tourist sites. $20 before 5p, $5 after. As a Saint Johns county resident, per the Saint Augustine Saint John's website it says $3 garage parking for residents which I am. My ID and vehicle registration prove that but I haven't received my resident permit yet because I didn't know that was a thing until recently and I guess it can take a few weeks. And instead of approaching that with understanding, and explaining this to me the attendant was rude disrespectful, and made me cry. Then charged me $20. read more

This is THE place to park when visiting St. Augustine. We saw lots of cars just driving around looking for parking. No need to waste your time. Just get in line and go for it. Depending on the day/time the line can be longer or shorter based on what's going on. We visited last year during the Christmas holidays and parked here also. This visit was on the afternoon of Christmas Eve. There was a double line to get in but it moved. It really depends upon the patrons and how quickly they can select a spot and park it. I loved that it was even decorated inside the garage - complete with a couple of trees and the booth decorated with gift wrap. How festive and fun! The staff working the exit was friendly and quick. There are restrooms located on the main first level right after you park and make your way out of the garage. Also, the cutest little gift shop with fun items and fun staff! It's a flat $20.00 fee. I will always park here when visiting St. Augustine! read more

If you are visiting downtown St Augustine, this is probably the easiest and most convenient place to park. Located off of Castillo Drive, it's a 5 to 10 minute walk to many of the places you'd go. Getting in, there is a parking fee, but if you have a disable pass they waive the fee, There is generally ample parking and multiple levels. One thing that did sketch me out was the top level. I parked there so I could sit and get some breeze. It was pretty empty, but when cars are driving through, the entire floor bounces, almost like a trampoline effect. NOT a great feeling, and probably not great for structural integrity in the long term, but I'm not a structural engineer so who knows...maybe it's built that way on purpose; but it's the only floor that seems to do it. read more

I've been using the parking garage behind the visitors center in St Augustine for years. It's conveniently located so you can walk everywhere in the historic district and get back to your car within 10-15 minutes. The cost has gone up considerably in the last few years and is $20 before 5 PM and $10 after 5 PM. I do appreciate the price cut after 5 PM! There are four levels and the top level is uncovered. There is an elevator as well as stairs for exit and entrance. The garage is well lit, and security drives through regularly to make sure everyone is safe. There is no need to put your receipt in the windshield as no one is getting in without paying. And exit is fast and easy, just follow the signs. read more

I always park here when we come to St Aug. This time we paid $20 to park (got there around 1pm) and got back to the car at 8 pm. "Security" (I use this term EXTREMELY LOOSELY) came up to us around 8:10 and said we had to move soon. We said okay and we would leave soon, we were looking up the route on maps. Around 8:40 "security" came up to us again on his golf cart, with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, and asked "Do you not understand what I told you? Do you not know your address?" After showing him that we were figuring it out he stated that we were "loitering" and if we didn't leave in 5 minutes he was going to call the police on us. I asked him what the difference was between the roughly 50 other cars parked on our level and us, he said "the city rules." The garage does not close until 9 pm and I have never had a problem with this ever before even with having been here 10+ times before. This put a sour taste in my mouth for all of St Augustine if i'm being honest. Seems like a man with a power trip who saw three young girls in a car that he could boss around. read more

Located at 10 W. Castillo Drive. The parking facility, open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Any time we visit St. Augustine this is the spot we park. It's within walking distance from the shops and really everything you want to see when visiting. The parking garage is clean and easy to enter and exit. The cost to park in the facility is $15 per car, per entry, for a full day and for evening hours. Cash, credit, and debit cards are all accepted. Handicap parking is free. All you have to do is show your decal and license. Plenty of disabled parking available also. They have stairs and elevators available. And right outside the garage area is the visitor information building that has a gift shop and restrooms available. read more

My feedback is completely middle of the road as it all depends on what time of year you're trying to use this parking facility. During the holiday period / Nights of Lights, the garage periodically closes for long periods of time, which is frustrating, especially when you see streams of people leaving the garage and see empty spots when driving outside of the garage. As the largest (and maybe only?) parking garage in the area (with 1,200 spaces!), they definitely need to manage the flow better during busy periods - seemed as though until they had 150 or more open spaces (based on two different nights' attempts to park here) they re-open. The location overall is great and the idea of a parking garage in the area is critical - just hoping the logistics and smoothness could be sorted out when the demand for it is super high. During non-peak season, we've had great experiences at this garage - friendly staff, convenient access in and out of the garage (both as a vehicle and pedestrians). The parking fee is steep ($20); however, with the changes in the rules of street parking in Historic St. Augustine, it may be your best bet if you have plans to be in town for more than a few hours. read more

Tried parking here to go into town and get an early dinner, they allowed us to enter and pay, we drove around in circles for over 15 minutes along with several other cars with no available spots. We eventually decided we had enough and pulled back out to the front and asked for our $ back since we had our time stamped ticketed and showed there was no parking available and were told "we wouldn't care if your girlfriends water just broke, we will never give a refund, you should keep riding around until someone leaves" very weird response, would recommend avoiding if possible. read more

Parking in St Augustine is very hit or miss- the parking garage offers you covered parking in the garage- but don't count on it as a guarantee for festivals like Night of Lights. The lines to even get to the garage are daunting. Normally though- this does provide the least amount of stress for access to St George Street and beyond. I have parked all over St Augustine over the years and usually you can circle the area for an hour and still not find a spot. But- you pay for it. $15 a car. I believe there are signs on each floor warning about not being responsible for any property stolen- and this is one of my pet peeves. If I am paying for parking, there should be some security to make sure my vehicle is safe. On the street- park at your own risk. read more

$15 to park??? Insane! Then an elevator wasn't working. Not using them again. Rather drive around and find street parking.

My family and I went to go get BBQ on a Monday this week and found that the business parking lot was for employees only and full. But we still wanted Mojo's BBQ. So my family of 5, little kids too, drove to this parking garage and parked in it and walked over to Mojo's and were turned away due to staffing issues. Seems everything in St Austin's closes early on Monday. So much for place attraction!! So we go back to the parking garage after about 15-20 min later and ask the attendant if there is a way to get a refund as EVERYTHING WAS CLOSED. We were given a number and the person on the other end did not answer and called back almost as if this wasn't a business but some ploy on how not give money back. If someone calls. Answer, it's that simple. We were told that it's a flat fee no matter how much time is spent there. Then by all means PUT UP A SIGN THAT STATES EVERYTHING CLOSES EARLY! This was clearly a rip off and an unacceptable way to perform business! read more
