I contacted Doyle Electric to find out why we had power go out in living room and some bedrooms. They sent a man out in a week and he looked for two hours trying to find out where the problem was. He was very nice and said he had to get on another job (totally understood) and said he would give the order to his staff and then they would make an appointment for us to try under the house and find the problem. I waited for a few days, heard nothing, so I called and the lady said they had to have a meeting on it and she would call back. No call back. I waited for three more days, called and the lady then said she would have to find out what they decided they were doing for us and she would call us back. Still no call back after several more days. I called AGAIN and another lady said the lady I had originally talked to was at an appt and would have her call me back. No call. I called again the next day and was told the original lady was doing "banking" and was not in the office and would have her call me back. I finally lost it and said but I DONT get the call back!!! I also said I am extremely frustrated that u say u will call back and don't!!! I told her if u don't have time to do our house then TELL me, I get that! The lady was extremely rude and put out by that comment and told me she would have the lady call me back (with a huff) No call. After several more days, I called Hays Electric. They came out the next day and stayed until he could figure it out! (about 3 hours). I now have a house with power back!!!! I was so happy and relieved!! I had been concerned all this time worrying about what was wrong and if we could have something else happen while waiting on a electrician to help me. I'm so thankful to Hays Electric!!! I will never use Doyle Electric again. Their customer service needs to improve! Or maybe I am not a big enough project to care what they say to me. I just think the ladies in the office need customer service training. They both left a bad taste in my mouth!! Again, thank u Hays Electric for caring enough to help me!!! Needed an electrician to hard wire spotlights and run lines in the attic. 1.5 hour job. Only, the electrician who showed up was well over 200 lbs. I asked if there was any risk for someone his size to be walking in an attic. Well, he ended up fracturing the drywall in the house and throughout garage. It's been 3 months of me contacting them and their drywall contractor to no avail. In fact, on one call I made to the electrician's manager, he got on the phone thinking I was a drywall guy, and then proceeding to make disparaging remarks about me. He said that I was "real picky". Well, If expecting a contractor to do the work agreed upon without trashing my property is "real picky", then I'm guilty as charged. Dragging their feet to mitigate the damages they caused for over 3 months. I had to do the repairs myself. Many other contractors I've hired have treated our house like it was their own. Had some power issues and needed several large circuit breakers replaced. Nearly $10K in parts and labor. Significant portions of the facility are without power. First contacted Doyle in early June and have called them several times--mostly with dismissive and rude responses. Finally got a commitment to do the work in early August. Hope the quality of work is worth the wait. read more

We called Doyle in March for some residential electrical repairs. It took 2 times that they scheduled with us before someone actually came to our home. The worker who came and spent 3 hours, mostly exclaiming that he did not understand why our smoke detector was being set off by one of our light switches. It took 2 more calls to Doyle to get another worker out here to fix this issue, which happened about 4-6 weeks later. The worker who came the final time, Billy, fixed the issue in under and hour and was very helpful. Fast forward a month or so, we receive a bill for nearly $300 for 4 hours of work between the 2 people who came to our home. When my husband went to their office to discuss the bill, stating that only 2 hours of work was actually done, he was treated very rudely. I paid the bill, and plan to NEVER call them again. Billy was great; nice, competent and had great customer service skills. I would suggest calling pretty much ever other electrician in town before calling Doyle. read more

We were losing water pressure on our well and took the advice of friends to contact Doyle. First filled out their online form and waited on a call, which webpage said would come within 24 hours. Made several calls over the next few weeks before connecting with someone who would deal with our well. She contacted Wa Dept of Ecology to find out about our well rather than sending someone out to see what the problem was. Weeks later and numerous phone calls and we got a $10,000 quote and a wait of another few weeks. We went another route and got a responsive company who showed up the next day and identified a leak in the well casing. Heck of a lot cheaper repair and completed in a few days. read more
