I thought the procedure was going to be long and nasty. Believe it or not, it was actually quite enjoyable. Unlike other dentists, he explained what he was going to do before each step. I felt much more comfortable when I knew what exactly the doctor was doing to me. The procedure was done neatly and painlessly before I even realized. When I felt painful in my gum around that tooth 6mth later, I called the office and the receptionist was very nice to book me a consult on the same day. The assistant took the X-Ray free of charge. Dr Partnoy explained my X-ray thoroughly and confirmed my bone healed well. He advised me to get a crown instead of the permanent fillings, which was the same reason as what I expected. The team is absolutely professional and I would recommend here to anyone who needs to do a root canal.

I was referred to Endodontic Specialists by Dr. Robert Feeley of Downtown Dental Centre for a root canal. I simply can't recommend Dr. Glen Partnoy highly enough. He was very professional, straight and to the point. He explained the diagnosis thoroughly in terms I could understand and prepared me for the procedure. All in all it took less than an hour. Dr. Partnoy prescribed me pain meds but honestly I have felt no post-op discomfort of any kind. At then end of the day my insurer Manulife only designated eligible $934 out of $1355 for the root canal fee. They only pay the prevailing rate for a dentist to perform root canals as opposed to a specialist. For me I will be going to Endodontic Specialists everytime--it's worth it!

I wasn't in any pain, but I needed a root canal and this office is in-network for both my GEHA and Cigna dental insurance plans. The office is located on Main St. in Williamsville. You turn onto S. Long St. and you'll see that it's on the tail-end of the building. The signage isn't super obvious, so keep an eye out. And they do have parking spaces for you. Check-in was quick and simple. The front office (Lisa) had already called my general dentist to get the tooth and insurance information. So, I filled out a couple standard forms and was almost immediately called in to be seen. The root canal went perfectly, as far as I can tell. It was near painless during the procedure and I have yet to experience much discomfort afterwards. What more can you ask for? It did seem like my tooth presented a couple surprises and took awhile (as is typical), but Dr. Shostad kept me at ease the whole time. Her and her assistant (Jacky) have a great chemistry. I felt like I was getting a personal comedy show and it was hilarious...Dr. Shostad the comic and Jacky the straight man. Hey, hopefully you don't need an endodontist anytime soon...but, this is definitely the place to go if you do. :-)

They are always willing to help you when it comes to the billing, issues you are having, and just making sure your teeth are in good shape. The building is in a good spot, there is always parking available, and is well kept up. The entrance is inviting and you are greeted by Renee who is always smiling and willing to help out anyway she can. The examination rooms are comfortable and have TVs, as well as the x-ray machines are state of the art. They use the newest technology when cleaning your teeth, checking what is bothering you and truly make you feel at ease. I highly recommend them for all your dentistry needs. If it wasn't for them I would never had thought to get braces again to fix my gap, as well as fix my underbite. Without Dr. Ferington I would never have gone to Lockport Orthodontics and gotten fixed.
