I wish I could give this place no stars. This is the second time I've been in there and they didn't have an ingredient that's supposed to go into the ice cream the last time I was there they didn't have bananas for banana split and now they didn't have something for the s'mores blizzard I wanted With the number they have 96.5 they should be shut down. It's a bunch of kids in there working I understand they need a job, but they need to do better and be better. Their customer service is lacking in the ice cream as well. This location needs HELP. Every-time we have gone the machine to make the misty freeze/slushies is down. If you are OUT of something ON your menu walk outside and put a piece of tape over it on the menu saying it's sold out. Tonight we came for frozen hot cocoa- machine not working. So we say we'd like some blizzard that is ON tue menu. They no longer sell it. WTH?! It's so simple to cover up things you are temporary out of. This Dairy Queen is failing big time. I have gave them more than a few chances so I don't want to hear that typical "oh we're sorry you feel that way, hope you give us another chance though..." crappy auto pilot message response. I'm so so angry. What a waste of time and money. They really need to raise their standards and earn some dignity for themselves. They really don't seem to be trying, more like they could care less. Employees are always rude in the drive-thru, they don't wear name tags so you cant even reference who does what. But the shorter guy with black hair is usually the culprit. No greeting, no customer service, just a "what do you want" essentially when you pull up to the menu. Takes almost 10 minutes for one blizzard. If you can afford the gas and time, goto the one in Sanford instead. read more

It's a Dairy Queen so the expectations aren't high going in. If you order anything besides ice cream, you would be better off eating a lunchable. Been here 8 times to get a blizzard, ice cream machine has only worked twice, order was wrong one of those times. If you have a DQ gift card, forget about using it here. This is an extremely poor serviced Dairy Queen. The staff is slow and doesn't understand common decency. This sadly is the only Dairy Queen within thirty minutes as we're in a small area, so it still gets business. However, it another one opened up this one would be done because of its lack of quality. Slow doesn't even cover how exhausting the wait for three items is. We've been here for more than 20min for our items! We ordered a large chcoco extreme blizzard, a medium royal, and a mixed coffee. A full hour we have waited and we just got our items The large extreme blizzard was halfway melted so it had to be redone and they messed it up completely! Folks this isn't that hard to do! I had the worst experience here. The whole flip upside down or it's free is a lie. Apparently it's only one in the order. My order was completely soupy and she flipped the one that was semi decent. I took it inside and said this is why you flip all. They were completely rude. When I was ordering she was rude over the microphone. The only reason we go here is because this is the closest one. This location is the worst possible. I hit the drive thru a few days ago to get my sons a treat. I waited 18 minutes to get to the order board. I ordered 2 blizzards and a slushy. It took me 57 minutes from the time I pulled up til the moment I pulled off. I would have left if the drive thru doesn't trap you in. They handed me my 2 blizzards and after another 12 minutes, I had to yell into the window to get someone's attention and ask for my slush so I could leave. After about 30 minutes..I saw two old ladies walk in..and they were served, and gone, before my family. The people serving me were rude, slow and unapologetic. Under no circumstance should it ever take an hour for 3 simple treats. I will never, ever grace that place with my business despite loving Dairy Queen's product. The dairy queen in spring lake closed so we were driving past this DQ and stopped because there isn't one around us. Though the service was a little slow (literally all DQs have this problem), THEY HAVE CHERRY DIPPED CONES HERE!!!!!!!!!!! I have been to many, many, many DQs and even worked at one as my first ever job and have only ever seen one other DQ with cherry dip cones which was up north. My wife loves them and we can't find them ever. So cherry dip for the win at this location!!! read more

Whomever the manager is here needs some serious reprimanding on how you treat your employees. We went through the drive thru tonight (9-25) around 6:30pm and ordered two blizzard and a plain cone. We had a gift card so we used that and paid the rest with a card. The man running the window was extremely polite and knew he wasn't quite sure how do the payment. Instead of making it a learning lesson the manager raised his voice and was degrading him in front of us. When the employee fails, the manager fails! The employee was probably never properly trained on how to do this type of payment. The manager went out of his way to embarrass his employee in front of customers and his behavior is disgusting! This DQ has consistently been slow, but it's nearby and we've dealt with it. Tonight was the final time. We placed an order in the drive-thru which was painfully difficult due to a speaker issue. We pulled forward to pay and they informed us their card reader wasn't working. We didn't have cash but asked if there was an ATM in the gas station the DQ is attached to and they said there was. The ATM was down and the gas station cashier didn't think she could offer cash back. We attempted to pay at the front register for DQ, but the staff member working didn't think we could. Another staff member had to show him how to accept payment at a front register for a drive thru order. (We still aren't sure why they had us walk inside if the front registers were working) This entire time, our drive thru order was sitting, melting, uncovered near the drive thru window. We finally got part of our order handed over when the staff member giving them to us was distracted by a question and walked away holding the rest of our order and causing us to have to request she give it to us. This entire fiasco resulted in wasted money, melted ice cream, and a generally poor experience. We will avoid this location like the plague in the future and I would suggest anyone who desires edible fare and pleasant experiences do the same. read more

Waited in line for 5+ minutes they helped everyone in front of us (who were all complaining about the time it had taken to be helped and that they had been waiting for their purchases for a while) when it was my turn I am waiting at the counter and no one has helped me for a good bit of time them some one comes out from the back and rudely says that they are closed and turns the lights off on us. Went for a simple blizzard & banana split and had to wait 30ish minutes because all three employees were new.. they had to tell the person in front of me they couldn't make something AFTER he paid, had two customers come in from the drive through because they messed it up, and had another customer in the drive through get mad for the wait as well.. not the employees fault as they're new.. next time put them with someone who knows what they're doing before you run away customers AND employees! read more
